Support front-end recruiting activities, onboarding new agents, and maintaining relationships with financial advisors and agents. | Minimum 2 years' financial services sales experience, knowledge of Life Insurance products, and strong interpersonal skills. | What You Can Expect In This Role Responsible for front-end recruiting activities, lead generation and onboarding of new agents to support the Sammons Life Insurance Group regional teams. Coordinate efforts and communication with sales teams and support Internal and External Wholesalers in respective territories to drive premium and build relationships. What You'll Do In This Role • Execute consistent follow up with internal/external wholesalers to communicate financial advisor interaction, assistance provided and next steps to advance the sales process and deepen advisor relationships. • Coordinate follow-up conversations between wholesalers and their producers. • Act as backup for Internal Wholesalers in assigned regions. • Establish and cultivate relationships with assigned group of agents and contacts through regular contact to develop, grow and drive sales while enhancing relationships. Execute on all facets of the sales process with ultimate goal of helping agent grow their business and increase sales volume. • Contact recruits and manage contracting paperwork in assigned regions. Consistently follow up on focused recruit leads including agent referrals, recruiting lists, agent direct inquiries and Bank and Broker Dealer leads. • Coordinate new agent onboarding and provide training solutions for other needs to ensure understanding of effectively and efficiently doing business with Sammons Financial Group Life Division. • Assist assigned regions with front-end recruiting activities, lead generation and onboarding new agents. • Respond to inbound calls and emails in a timely manner with the ability to prioritize requests based on need. • Establish relationships with the service center associates to assist the sales desk with problem resolution and case follow up. • Effectively assist financial advisors with problem resolution, illustration design, email/mail illustrations and order materials as needed. • Navigate the organization to and available resources to provide problem resolution assistance to financial advisors across the country. Know when and to whom calls will be escalated to if caller is not satisfied. Follow proper procedure for issue escalation involving management and/or other departments. • Identify needs and provide feedback around marketing, sales and technical materials to support sales efforts. • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge on industry trends, competitive intelligence and investment strategy methods. • Maintain a positive image of the company in work actions and interactions with other’s serving as a representative of the organization • Commitment to embrace Sammons Financial Group Companies shared values (Accountability, Connection, Openness, Respect and Integrity). • As stated within the Company Attendance and Punctuality policy, regular attendance is required and expected in order to meet the business service levels and workflow demands. • Other duties as assigned. Utilizing combination of strong business acumen and technical knowledge, effectively communicate with both business stakeholders and technical teams. Ensure product vision is clearly defined, understood, and realized through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, prioritizing product backlogs based on value and facilitating Agile processes. Serve as liaison between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring delivery of products that drive significant business value. Coach and mentor employees and serve as trusted advisor within Product Owner Community of Practice. What You'll Do In This Role • Partner with Product Manager to craft compelling product vision. Independently articulate product vision and roadmap that aligns with business goals, leveraging technical knowledge to ensure feasibility and scalability. • Independently prioritize and manage product backlog utilizing understanding of technical dependencies and constraints, ensuring clear communication of features, user stories and acceptance criteria to multiple development teams and across business lines. • Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring alignment on product goals. • Lead Agile ceremonies with confidence, drawing on technical knowledge to clarify requirements and guide sprint planning. • Analyze data to inform product decisions, prioritizing features and enhancements that deliver maximum business value. Measure outcomes that align with success metrics, identifying and escalating gaps and pivoting when data doesn’t support outcomes. • Collaborate with user experience (UX)/user interface (UI) teams to ensure product designs meet user needs while being technically viable. • Advocate for best practices in product development, including understanding of continuous integration (CI)/continuous deployment (CD) principles to streamline delivery and enhance product quality. • Build strong working relationships with key partners, stakeholders and customers to facilitate delivery of expected quality Agile products. • Serve as a mentor, sharing knowledge to develop other employees. Serve as a trusted advisor to management and leadership. • Continuously pursue industry trends and education, sharing insights with the team. Influence and contribute to the Community of Practice while maintaining certification standards and supporting ongoing knowledge sharing. What We're Looking For • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related degree Preferred • Minimum 5 years' experience in a product ownership role within an Agile software development environment with a proven track record of delivering products that meet market needs Preferred • Financial services experience/knowledge of the business Preferred • Experience working closely with technical teams utilizing understanding of technical requirements and constraints Required • Experience in translating business needs into strategy and actionable tasks to deliver expected outcomes Required • Experience in scaled agile framework environments Preferred • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies with the ability to apply principles in business-focused product development • Knowledge of basic technical principles relevant to the product domain (e.g., web technologies, software development lifecycle, user experience (UX)/user interface (UI) design considerations) • Organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and navigate complex initiative landscapes • Effective communication skills with capability of negotiating with stakeholders and ability to convey complex product requirements to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to influence without direct authority • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to success • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement with a willingness to stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation Required • Some travel may be required Other Requirements • Criminal background check required. Salary Range Information USD $74,301.00 - USD $154,793.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
