About the Opportunity: As our Assistant General Counsel, reporting to our EVP Chief Legal Officer, your contributions will be critical in supporting our continued growth as you design, refine and implement an efficient and scalable contracting process. You will partner with key areas of the organization including product, customer success, partnerships, privacy/data security, and sales to help modernize and build our contracting function for our many FinTech software and services offerings for the mortgage servicing industry. Your Day to Day at Sagent: Design, develop and implement efficient contracting process to support multiple loan servicing platforms. Creatively strategize renewals and support the modernization of legacy contracts. Work in close collaboration with product management, customer success and sales to provide best-in-class legal service. Support optimization of legal process. Keep current on product offerings and translate them into SaaS, MSA SOW’s and similar contracting models. We'd love to hear from you if you have: 10 years legal experience with preferably 5 years negotiating technology related contracts [Need years of experience and education paragraph depending on the level). U.S. law degree (J.D.) required. Actively licensed to practice in at least one state. Experience drafting, negotiating, summarizing, and closing technology transactions. A desire to be part of a fast-paced team with high level legal needs. Experience with intellectual property in SaaS environment. Experience with cloud computing contracting. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with business and product groups providing legal support. About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR professional to join our People Operations team as a Staff-level HR Business Partner at Sagent. The successful candidate will have a track record of operating as a strategic partner – building trusted relationships with leaders, understanding business priorities, and aligning HR initiatives to support organizational goals. You’ll work closely with teams in a fast-paced, technology driven environment. This role offers a balance of strategic partnership and hands-on execution across key People Operations functions. Your day-to-day at Sagent: Strategic HR Solutions: • Collaborate with senior management within specific business units or regions to develop and implement medium to long-term HR solutions aligned with business strategy. • Provide expert guidance and support in the creation and execution of strategic HR initiatives. Policy Development: • Lead the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support business objectives and strategic plans. • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Culture Building: • Foster a positive workplace culture that reflects core values and empowers associates to be as productive as possible. • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and programs. Functional Expertise: • Apply a theoretical knowledge base to achieve HR goals through individual work. • May provide guidance to others as a project manager or lead, using technical expertise. We would love to hear from you if you have: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant discipline with 2 - 4 years of experience in a related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. • 1-3 years of experience as an HRBP with broad HR exposure. • Experience working in a technology-driven organization; SaaS or fintech experience is a strong plus. • Solid understanding of HR best practices and employee relations experience. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to create and implement HR policies that align with business objectives. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Comfort working in a Hybrid environment with at least 3 days a week working from our Dallas office. • Possible travel up to 10%.
