Position Overview We are seeking a highly strategic, hands-on Senior Vice President of Data & Analytics to lead all analytics initiatives across the organization. This executive will oversee the full analytics function—data management, collection, insights, reporting, and advanced strategic planning—spanning both our portfolio of real estate investments and insurance operations. Data Collection & Governance • Design and execute data collection frameworks, ensuring inputs are accurate, timely, and consistent across business units. • Build and operate analytics workflows personally when needed, including hands-on data analysis, dashboard creation, modeling, and KPI development. • Establish data governance standards, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance across the enterprise. Cross-Functional Partnership • Partner with cross-functional executives (Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology) to embed analytics rigor throughout key initiatives. • Own analytics across a portfolio of investments, coordinating data gathering and reporting across our insurance and investment business to drive visibility and performance management. • Develop reporting platforms that support underwriting optimization, claims performance, distribution insights, financial forecasting, and operational measurement. Minimum Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, business intelligence, or a related field. • Proven experience leading company-wide analytics programs, preferably in a fast-moving start-up environment. • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically—comfortable working autonomously and rolling up sleeves to execute. • Strong background in data operations, statistical analysis, dashboarding, and data governance. • Experience working with or supporting investment portfolios and/or insurance/financial services analytics. • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights. • Track record of building and leading high-performing analytics teams.
