WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Account Management Division Manager will work cooperatively with Safefoods, A division of Fortrex, management team, team members, and customers to ensure the streamlined ordering, delivery, and application of our products. This role involves managing and controlling the budgeted costs of chemicals, equipment, freight/fuel, and labor within your territory while maintaining open communication with management about any variances. You will play a critical role in both maintaining existing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities. • Communicate regularly with key plants in the geographical area to ensure day to day processes are being performed effectively and efficiently. • Manage the approval process for expenses of territory personnel. • Supervise a team of Account Management Area Managers and Account Managers to achieve stated goals and serve our customers with excellence. • Consistently seek ways to reduce cost and increase efficiency for the company and our customers. • Constantly finding new business expansion in the geographical area assigned. • Other duties as assigned. YOUR MUST HAVES: • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Associate's degree or 7-10 years in sanitation/food processing industry. • Area Manager or equivalent experience (18 months experience at this level preferred). • Display strong managerial skills including decision-making and conflict resolution. • Maintain integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus. • Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs. • Possess a valid and active driver's license. WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE: • Bachelor's Degree in related field. • Work experience or education in Food & RTE Processing Operations, Quality Assurance, or Sanitation. • Previous experience in leading a sales team in the Food, Beverage, Dairy, and RTE industry. OUR ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to wet, hot, cold, various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Frequently (role requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day) - Stand, walk, sit, reach outward, squat/kneel, bend. Lift/Carry 11-50 lbs & push/pull 13-40 lbs. Constant (role requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day) - Use of fingers and hands. Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less & push/pull 12 lbs or less. Occasional (role requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day) - Climb & crawl. Lift/Carry 51+ lbs & push/pull 41-100 lbs. Oversee audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify gaps and maintain compliance. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to develop and implement initiatives for pathogen control and food safety improvements. • Continuous Improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices for food safety management.
