As an Product Line Specialist Sales Engineer, you will provide technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales team. We are seeking a self-starter who will exceed sales quotas by driving innovative technical programs, pipeline generation alongside AEs, customer demonstrations, POCs, and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. You will be responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting Rubrik’s Data Resilience, Observability and Remediation tools to a targeted list of new & existing customers throughout the Western Region. What You'll Do: • Provides technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects in the development and positioning Rubrik's NAS Cloud Direct product • Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serves as a public cloud subject matter expert when positioning Rubrik's NAS Cloud capabilities to key accounts. • Leads technical sales calls, gathers / analyzes customer feedback, and identifies trends. • Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding. • Maintains a consistent cadence with product management to ensure product roadmap alignment with customer demands. • Assists with the development of marketing and sales collateral to ensure alignment with customer needs and technical accuracy. • Aids in the development and delivery of technical enablement to Rubrik, channel, and alliance partner sales architects. • Cross-functionally drives the adoption of Rubik's cloud native protection technologies throughout Rubrik and the public cloud ecosystem. Preferred Qualifications: • 5+ years of sales engineering experience in an unstructured data environment with a proven track record of success • Additional preference for experience with AWS, GCP, private cloud infrastructure, and/or security solutions. • Driven – need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach. • The successful candidate must have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics. • Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude • Strives in moving in a fast-paced environment; including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up. • A high level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges. • Smart, adaptable and open-minded The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; this role is also eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the Company’s written Incentive Compensation Plan. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cloud Networking Architect to lead the architecture and implementation of resilient, secure, and scalable networking solutions across Rubrik's hybrid multi-cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI). As part of our Global Infrastructure & Platform Services organization, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and architectural owner for cloud networking, enabling seamless and secure service connectivity across global regions and cloud platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise with architectural leadership, and you'll work cross-functionally with security, platform engineering, and application teams to modernize how our services connect, scale, and operate. What you'll do: • Lead architecture and design of all cloud networking solutions across GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI. • Design and implement hybrid multi-cloud connectivity, including VPC/VNet design, peering, transit gateways, interconnects, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and secure tunneling. • Build a unified connectivity fabric that supports multi-tenant onboarding, service segmentation, traffic routing, and policy enforcement across clouds. • Implement network observability (end-to-end traffic visibility, flow tracing, correlation ID propagation) to enable diagnostics and performance analysis. • Define and drive network security controls: micro-segmentation, zero trust network access (ZTNA), identity-aware routing, firewall policies, and encryption in transit. • Enable service-to-service communication abstraction, protocol translation, and traffic mediation across diverse environments. • Partner with security, SRE, and developer teams to onboard services securely and efficiently to the networking fabric. • Promote and enforce automation-first principles using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD pipelines. • Establish architectural standards, best practices, and reusable templates for consistent, scalable, and secure deployments. • Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to future-proof Rubrik's network infrastructure. Experience you'll need: • 8+ years of experience in network architecture, with strong hands-on experience in multi-cloud networking. • Deep understanding of cloud-native networking concepts across major CSPs: AWS (VPC, TGW, Direct Connect), GCP (VPC, Interconnect), Azure (VNet, ExpressRoute), OCI. • Experience designing and operating hybrid/multi-cloud environments with high availability and low latency. • Strong command of load balancing, DNS, NAT, TLS termination, L7 routing, HTTP/1.1-HTTP/3, and protocol translation. • Experience with zero trust networking and modern network security design. • Expertise in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation. • Experience with observability and telemetry tools (OpenTelemetry, FluentBit, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to collaborate and influence across engineering and infrastructure teams. Preferred qualifications: • Cloud networking certifications (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Azure Network Engineer Associate). • Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Consul, Linkerd). • Familiarity with HAProxy, NGINX, Envoy, or other L7 proxies/load balancers. • Experience with compliance-driven or regulated environments is a plus.
