As a Program & Project Management Manager at RSM, you will lead the delivery of large, complex transformation engagements across multiple industries, including public sector and healthcare. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects and programs ranging from $600K to $2M, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies. Key Responsibilities • Project & Program Leadership: Manage large-scale engagements, including ERP and business intelligence transformations, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline • Governance & Structure: Establish and maintain program governance frameworks to support effective decision-making and accountability • Scope & Change Management: Manage project scope in alignment with Statements of Work (SOW) and maintain a Change Request Log to track adjustments • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, clearly communicating project impacts and expectations • Team Direction & Motivation: Lead and inspire project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and resolving issues proactively. • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks and issues early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate when necessary • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets and financials, ensuring adherence to constraints and maximizing value delivery • Sales Enablement: Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, position solutions, and create sales-ready opportunities • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive client engagement and relationship nurturing • Communication & Documentation: Ensure clear, consistent communication across stakeholders and maintain comprehensive project documentation Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field • Proven experience managing complex projects and programs, ideally within the $600K–$2M range • Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies • Experience with transformation initiatives involving regulatory compliance, operational modernization, and system integration • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar platforms • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Demonstrated ability to lead discovery conversations and support business development efforts Preferred Experience • PMP certification • Experience leading end-to-end project management within the Government/Public Sector, including compliance with procurement policies and regulatory standards • Exposure to Healthcare transformation initiatives, particularly involving Medicare and Medicaid • Familiarity with public sector documentation, governance, and audit requirements • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive cross-functional collaboration At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people. We are seeking a Manager to join our Security, Privacy & Risk practice, focusing on Government Contractors serving commercial entities with an emphasis on cybersecurity frameworks and data protection requirements. The Manager of FedCyber will oversee the delivery of various cybersecurity services while understanding the specific risks related to cyber regulatory expectations that impact government contractors serving defense and civilian agencies. This role involves assisting organizations in establishing effective data protection programs to safeguard critical assets. Candidates should possess a range of skills, including performing and overseeing cybersecurity governance assessments (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, MARS-E), vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response. Additionally, experience in managing teams that deliver technical deployments of SIEM, DLP, and Identity Management solutions is highly desirable. Required qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field from an accredited college or university. • 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity governance and compliance consulting, or equivalent academic experience with an advanced degree. • Certifications in cybersecurity, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified CMMC Professional (CCP), and Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA). • Willingness to travel up to 30% to client sites to support various engagements. • Technical expertise and the ability to discuss topics in one or more of the following areas: network and IT infrastructure, application and database design, IT governance and risk management, third-party management, incident response, and knowledge of standard network and IT security components. • Familiarity with key cybersecurity compliance standards and regulations, including but not limited to FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST CSF, and GLBA. • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record in a professional services firm, large consultancy, or similar environment. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, especially with cross-functional teams. Essential Duties Workday System Administration & Support: • Perform Workday administrative functions including business process and tenant configuration. • Provide postproduction support within PSA/RM, including Financials, Projects, Resource Plans and Pools, and Resource Forecasts and Budgets. • Understand the overall PSA and RM functionality within Workday. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: • Prepare for and conduct requirements elicitation sessions using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis. • Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements, assumptions, and constraints. • Organize, model, and specify requirements with appropriate detail. Process & Solution Documentation: • Write clear and concise requirements specifications. • Decompose high-level requirements into functional and nonfunctional requirements. • Develop and maintain documentation during creation, implementation, and enhancement of financial processes and solutions Agile & Project Participation: • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Scaled Agile, Kanban) and lead Agile ceremonies. • Participate in Go/No-Go decisions and document outcomes. • Conduct change management processes and ensure traceability for team releases.
