This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by compiling data and assisting with permit and report preparation and material testing; completing elementary design calculations and preparing quantity takeoffs and estimates and engineering plans; performing basic design tasks utilizing engineering software and technology; preparing drawings and visual aids; and performing as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects to gain increased understanding of construction practices and design applications. To be successful in this role, you must: Have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Have awareness of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances. Possess basic knowledge of production software. Have a passion for engineering and a willingness to grow and learn. Possess solid oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders. As the AAM Program Manager, you will drive the development, integration, and execution of initiatives that support next-generation air transportation systems. The individual will serve as a cross-functional leader-shaping corporate strategy, developing infrastructure solutions, engaging with regulators and partners, and ensuring successful implementation of AAM vertiport operations. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership • Serve as client senior advisor on all aspects of AAM strategy, policy, and infrastructure integration. • Shape statewide AAM implementation roadmaps, aligning with FAA, NASA, industry OEMs, and state legislative framework. • Guide long-range planning for vertiports, electric charging infrastructure, and integration with airports and transit systems. Program Oversight & Governance • Direct and coordinate consultant teams (planning, engineering, outreach, environmental) supporting client AAM program. • Establish and maintain program governance structures, reporting protocols, and measurable performance outcomes. • Provide briefings to client leadership, legislative committees, and partner agencies. To be successful in this role, you must: • Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, public policy, business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. • 15 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 5+ years advsing DOTs, airports or federal agencies on emerging aviation technologies (UAS, AAM, UAM). • Demonstrated experience leading multi-displinary consultant teams on a large-scale, statewide or multi-agency initatives. • Strong background in policy, governance and regulatory strategy at the federal or state level. Preferred Qualifications: • UAS/drone operations experience (commercial, research or government applications). • Experience in urban air mobility, eVTOL or advanced rotorcraft programs. • Infrastructure planning/design experience - airports, vertiports, electrical charging systems or multimodal transit integration.
