Compensation$90K - 160K a year

Managing logistics and supply chain operations, optimizing processes, and leading cross-functional initiatives. | Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain, and data-driven process improvements, with no mention of fintech or payments expertise. | Job Description What is the opportunity? The Senior Product Manager for Money Movement is the architect of how capital flows into and out of RBC Wealth Management-US. The focus of this role will be on the "velocity of money"—ensuring that high-net-worth clients can move funds via ACH, Bill Pay, and P2P (e.g., Zelle) with minimal friction and maximum speed. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of Product Innovation and Strategic Risk Management. This position will lead the development of intelligent movement rails that increase funds availability and transaction limits for Wealth Management-US’s most valued clients, while simultaneously building the infrastructure to protect the firm and our clients from evolving threats. What will you do? • Design and execute a strategy to transition from traditional "next-day" settlement to near-real-time and enhance ACH capabilities • Direct the evolution of the P2P payment experience, tailoring standard consumer tools to handle the higher-value transaction profiles typical of wealth management clients • Modernize the Digital Bill Pay suite, moving beyond legacy platforms to a streamlined, integrated experience that handles complex recurring payments • Lead the product vision for a Variable Limits Engine that dynamically adjusts transfer caps based on real-time risk signals (e.g., Client AUM, account tenure, behavioral patterns, and multi-factor authentication strength) • Optimize "Hold" logic for incoming transfers to increase immediate funds availability for trading, using risk-based segmentation to balance liquidity needs with the bank's risk appetite • Integrate advanced authentication and behavioral analytics into the money movement flow to reduce "friendly fraud" and account takeovers • Act as the primary liaison between the Wealth Management Product team and the Enterprise Payments team to ensure wealth-specific requirements are prioritized in the broader bank roadmap • Lead a cross-functional "Squad" including Engineers, UX Designers, Risk Officers, and Legal Counsel to move features from ideation to production • Drive the adoption of API-first architecture to allow for more flexible money movement integrations with third-party fintech apps and aggregators • Ensure all money movement workflows comply with Regulation E, NACHA rules, and evolving AML/CTF (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements • Monitor operational health through dashboards tracking "Success Rates," "Time to Settle," and "Return/Reversal Rates" What do you need to succeed? Must-have • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field • 7+ years in Product Management, with at least 4 years focused on Payments, Money Movement, or FinTech Risk • Expert knowledge of ACH (Standard, Same-Day), Bill Pay rails, and P2P networks. Familiarity with The Clearing House (TCH) or FedNow is a major plus • Demonstrated experience working with Risk/Fraud models to tune "False Positive" rates and improve the client experience without increasing losses • Ability to use data to justify higher limits and faster availability cycles; comfortable with SQL, Tableau, or similar data tools • Ability to navigate a complex matrixed environment and build consensus among competing stakeholders (e.g., Sales vs. Compliance) What’s in it for you? We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual. • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program include competitive compensation and flexible benefits, such as 401(k) program with company-matching contributions, health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and paid-time off. • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities. • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact. • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team. • Opportunities to do challenging work. • Opportunities to build close relationships with clients. The expected salary range for this particular position is $90,000-$160,000, (Minneapolis) depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
