Role Summary Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for an experienced energy professional to lead energy strategy for our growing portfolio of data center locations. As Director of Energy, you’ll lead Rowan’s energy strategy, work with leading utilities to negotiate agreements to meet Rowan’s capacity and reliability requirements and partner with customers to meet Rowan’s sustainability objectives. The successful candidate will have experience negotiating interconnection and electrical service agreements for large load customers, understanding of energy rate structures, experience supporting a team of energy experts and a passion for renewable energy and sustainability. In this role, you will lead a team that works directly with electric utilities to develop strategies for siting and developing the next generation of sustainable IT infrastructure. To succeed, candidates need to understand the technical nature of this work, as well as the commercial and regulatory elements that are required to enable these projects. Role Summary Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Director of Utility Project Delivery to lead a high-performing team of technical project managers responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective power, energy, water, and wastewater infrastructure across a rapidly growing hyperscale data center portfolio. This leadership role oversees the full lifecycle of utility-owned and jointly delivered infrastructure—from early development and interconnection strategy through procurement, construction, commissioning, and energization. The Director will establish programmatic delivery frameworks, standardize execution practices, and drive performance across multiple markets and utilities. This leader provides technical and strategic oversight, ensures utility partners deliver on commitments, manages risks across a complex project pipeline, and enables Rowan to meet its capacity, reliability, and sustainability requirements. Internally, the Director collaborates closely with site development, engineering, construction, operations, and customer teams to align schedules, escalate constraints, and ensure project readiness. Success in this role requires strong technical acumen in power systems, exceptional project and stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to lead teams navigating ambiguity, regulatory complexity, and aggressive delivery timelines.
