Role Summary Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Manager of Construction Systems Integration — a strategic and technical manager who will define how all major systems in our hyperscale data centers come together seamlessly in the field. This role is responsible to help set the vision and execution strategy for integrating mechanical, cooling, electrical, controls, and supporting infrastructure, ensuring they operate as a unified whole from design through commissioning, ensuring operational excellence, speed, and scalability. The Senior Manager will drive Rowan’s approach to off-site fabrication and modular installation, creating delivery models that shorten schedules, enhance safety, improve quality, and optimize cost. This includes building strong partnerships with key equipment manufacturers, technology innovators, and fabrication partners to embed cutting-edge solutions into our turnkey projects. This role will report to the Director of Construction Systems Integration. Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% to project sites, partner facilities, and company gatherings. Location: Remote or Hybrid in our Denver, CO office Compensation: $165-$185K (Offers Bonus) Essential Responsibilities Set the strategic framework for integrating all major technical systems—mechanical, cooling, electrical, and controls—into cohesive, optimized field execution plans Lead the development and implementation of Rowan’s modularization and off-site fabrication strategies to accelerate delivery and improve outcomes Partner with Engineering, Construction Management, and Procurement to ensure integration strategies are embedded in designs, scopes of work, and procurement plans Oversee system coordination in early-stage design reviews to ensure constructability, maintainability, scalability, and operational efficiency Establish integration standards, templates, and best practices for Rowan’s turnkey project delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, technology providers, and fabrication partners to create a robust innovation and delivery ecosystem Actively participate in Rowan’s Think Tank, contributing thought leadership on emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and creative delivery methods Partner with field teams to monitor execution, identify integration challenges early, and implement corrective actions Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for Rowan to lead in data center systems integration and delivery innovation Education, Skills, and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical discipline); advanced degree preferred 12+ years of experience in systems integration, MEP engineering, Oil & Gas equipment fabrication/installation, and/or mission-critical infrastructure delivery, with at least 5 years in a manager role Proven success in leading multidisciplinary integration strategies for large-scale or hyperscale projects Strong knowledge of mechanical cooling systems, electrical distribution, controls/BMS, and their interdependencies Demonstrated experience with modular construction and off-site fabrication methodologies Experience with high-performance data center delivery models and hyperscale customer requirements Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and industry peers Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization Track record of innovation and continuous improvement in technical delivery Fueled by Excellence & Collaboration At Rowan, we are a distributed team united by a common mission to transform data center delivery. Role Summary We are looking for Design Manager to provide civil engineering expertise to support projects across the Rowan data center project portfolio. This position is a critical part of the technical team that will help support all aspects of the Rowan approach from site origination through facility operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully providing both design and field level civil engineering support for complex development projects in the data center, industrial design/build, or similar industrial construction industries. The successful candidate will have excellent strategic thinking skills, a customer service orientation, excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Travel: Ability to travel up to (25%) for company gatherings or to project sites Location: Denver, CO Compensation: $140K - $160K - Offers Bonus Essential Responsibilities Lead, direct, and manage civil engineering consultants in the design, permitting, and coordination of civil engineering, inclusive of civil, geotechnical, traffic, environmental and hydrological disciplines. Expertise is not needed in all areas, but a general knowledge of all areas from a design and construction perspective is desired Coordinate with and ensure Rowan’s understanding of any civil engineering related Customer design requirements on a project-by-project basis Provide on-site field support as needed during construction, ensuring that civil engineering work is executed according to design specifications and standards Collaborate with the design and construction teams to address site-specific challenges and make recommendations to optimize designs for constructability Interface with and serve Rowan’s Commercial team and program managers with Subject Matter Expert (SME) level data and interpretation for key stakeholder decisions related to civil engineering Support the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and scopes of work, for civil components of data center projects As needed, review contractor work, submittals, and RFIs to ensure that civil engineering elements adhere to Rowan's standards of quality and project requirements Nurture and create relationships with permitting agencies and client technical experts Identify risks during all stages of the project lifecycle from site origination through operations Support the site origination team through technical reviews of existing civil site conditions and infrastructure associated with potential sites Advise the development team with technical expertise from a preconstruction perspective Support the growth of the engineering team and of Rowan by helping to establish engineering standards and processes Support other technical tasks not listed as required Support site construction teams with civil engineering pre-construction services as an internal client. Provide evaluation of site conditions, civil engineering related risks such as grading, cut and fill evaluations, and similar field support activities Must be comfortable working with government and jurisdictional agencies on complex environmental review, permitting, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) approval processes Education, Skills, and Experience Accredited professional degree in Civil Engineering or related field. EIT required.
