Position Summary The District Operations Manager oversees the outbound logistics of multiple client retail locations. They are responsible for maintaining client delivery capacity. This position conducts operational analyses, and audits current outbound procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations and client satisfaction. The District Operations Manager supervises a team comprised of Territory Managers within an assigned region. Competencies • Customer Focus • Drive for Results • Ethics and Values • Problem Solving • Conflict Resolution • Functional/Technical Learning • Managing and Measuring Work • Timely Decision Making • Developing Direct Reports & Others • Delegation • Motivating Others • Organizing Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Responsible for consistently meeting and exceeding client service goals • Driving, maintaining, and evangelizing the Company culture, purpose, and core beliefs through hands-on training, effective onboarding, and selection of new Extra Milers within the location • Oversee the daily outbound operations of multiple client retail locations and their various components, ensuring compliance with company, client, local, state, and federal policies and regulations • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation of the location • Oversight and accountability for weekly operator settlements based on set agreements to include back charge process and supplementation assessments • Supervises personnel including work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance • Maintains a professional appearance always, while setting an example for employees alike • Ensures daily meetings with service providers and teams are conducted consistently, ensuring performance rankings are accurate and updated daily, following standard Company operating procedures, Interpret and share location KPIs with key stakeholders • Partner with motor carriers to facilitate compliance and delivery capacity for the client • Advise Extra Milers on safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, and the like; ensuring employees and supervisors comply with company policies and administering practices in fair and equitable manner • Hiring, training, developing, and appraising staff effectively; taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies • Oversight of the upkeep and maintenance of all assigned assets, both from RLX and the client • Conduct weekly onsite store audits to ensure client satisfaction with RLX deliverables • Perform other work-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred) • 2-4 years of distribution, and/or supply chain operations with at least 2 years of managerial experience preferred • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel • Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to exhibit a professional demeanor when dealing with conflict • Ability to coach and develop employees • Must have reliable transportation to commute to the workplace and attend client meetings as necessary. This may involve traveling to various locations within the specific region for the client. Position Summary The Operations Supervisor, Outbound is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the outbound functions within a warehouse. The supervisor will help lead daily operations related to motor carrier compliance, route planning and monitoring, and customer/client service. This position requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with time spent both on the warehouse floor and in the office. Competencies • Ethics & Values • Problem Solving • Customer Focus • Drive for Results • Conflict Resolution • Functional/Technical Skills • Managing & Measuring Work • Timely Decision Making • Decision Quality • Informing • Composure • Listening Essential Duties And Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, including the monitoring of delivery activity as it relates to evaluation of motor carrier needs and customer service in accordance with agreed quality and production standards of the client • Lead and participate in active route monitoring daily • Assist Outbound Manager and GM with morning stand up and daily carrier communications • Assist Outbound Manager and GM in the processing of carrier settlements • Assisting Outbound Manager with recruiting and onboarding of motor carriers • Ensure that all client customers are contacted regarding delivery timeframes, delays, and any other pertinent information as it relates to their deliveries • Assist with audits and ensure returns processes align with RLX and client-specific requirements • Ensure timely reporting of loadout/returns compliance as well as motor carrier compliance within client standards and the agreed-upon communication mechanism • Serve as a main point of contact for escalations from the client • Schedule orders and notify the customer of their time windows for next day delivery • Maintain professional working relationships with location management, peers, motor carriers, client employees, and other department managers and holds their team to the same standards • Process and monitor claims through the client portal • Identify and escalate process discrepancies, including motor carrier compliance concerns • Perform other duties as assigned (may vary based on client requirements) Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities) • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required • Strong people and operations supervisory skills • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, etc.) • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment • Ability to embrace new technology • Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
