We are seeking a systems-oriented Software Engineer, Backend engineer to join our team! What we’re looking for: 2+ years of experience building and operating performant, non-trivial backend systems in production. Expertise or strong interest in the following areas: web performance optimization (including ORM and DB profiling), deploying and scaling web applications using cloud services, application security High enthusiasm for supporting both rapid proof-of-concept prototypes as well as robust, mission critical components for both internal and external stakeholders. Comfortable with ambiguity, strong user-first mindset, and ability to come up with non-regrettable technical solutions. Flexibility and dedication to work in a team and ship exceptional software. What we’re looking for: • Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (preferably a PhD). • 3+ years of industry experience. • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation. • Software development experience • Expertise in HPC and applying AI technology to CAE workflows. • Proficiency in key skills: PyTorch, Modulus, PyG, CAE/CFD/FEA, REST API development, CUDA, Kubernetes, and more. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
