We're looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to manage regional inventory replenishment of non-fuel items, ensuring optimal fill rates, timely orders, and exceptional customer service. This role supports inventory planning, purchase order management, vendor relationships, and inventory optimization across the region. $65k- $70k yearly salary Key Responsibilities: • Perform inventory replenishment and place special orders for regional warehouses. • Ensure accurate and timely purchase orders with correct product, price, freight, and plant information. • Coordinate transportation for intercompany and vendor orders. • Manage non-stock and obsolete inventory and submit new material requests. • Resolve purchase order pricing discrepancies and vendor service issues. • Support purchasing lead with forecasting, backorders, and corrective action plans. • Monitor and optimize inventory levels within the region and company. • Maintain master cost files and handle defective inventory/returns promptly. • Assist with physical inventories and special projects as needed. • Represent the company professionally and uphold corporate policies and safety standards. Required Skills and Abilities: • Familiarity with industry materials and inventory management. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory systems (e.g., DM2, Sage, Inventory Advisor). • Ability to manage stress and prioritize competing demands. • Willingness to travel within the region as needed. This role drives data-driven decision-making to enhance planning accuracy, optimize inventory performance, and improve customer service levels. By leveraging advanced analytics and reporting, the SIOP Analyst supports initiatives that strengthen forecast reliability, reduce excess inventory, and maintain data integrity across planning tools and ERP systems. Working closely with the Demand Planning Manager and Inventory Planning Manager, this position plays a critical role in advancing the company's integrated business planning process and delivering actionable insights that support growth and operational excellence. This is an on-site position at our office in Houston, TX. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and analyze demand forecasting, maintain buy plans, inventory management improvement, analyze statistical data & generate actionable insights, reporting development, continuous improvement to SIOP process, and maintain data accuracy across multiple systems.
