Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy and Execution • Build and execute an integrated content strategy and editorial calendar to support employer-focused marketing initiatives and campaigns. • Establish and manage Rain’s overall voice and messaging, ensuring alignment with corporate positioning and brand personality. • Partner with GTM teams to define content themes and develop an appropriate mix of top, middle, and bottom-funnel content. Content Creation and Amplification • Produce and manage high-quality content across various formats, including blog posts, articles, eBooks, infographics, videos, podcasts, social media, case studies and videos. • Maximize content value by repurposing high-performing assets into derivative formats for multiple channels. Collaboration and Storytelling • Collaborate with internal teams and external SMEs to develop compelling narratives that align with Rain’s value proposition. • Interview employer customers to create voice-of-the-customer stories that illustrate Rain’s impact. Performance Measurement • Implement best practices for content creation, reuse, and optimization. • Define and track content performance metrics, reporting results and optimizing future efforts accordingly. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in English, public relations, communications, or a related field. • 4+ years of professional content writing marketing experience, preferably in fintech or a related B2B industry. • Proven ability to craft and execute high-impact content marketing strategies that drive measurable results. • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with experience creating content across multiple mediums (e.g., blogs, video scripts, social posts, podcasts). • Ability to repurpose long-form content into short-form assets for targeted audiences. • Strong project management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment. • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, design, product marketing, and other GTM teams. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with content syndication strategies and partnerships to amplify reach. • Experience with HubSpot, Webflow, and design platforms like Figma. • Comfort using evolving AI tools to enhance content creation workflows, exercising sound judgment to ensure these tools complement your work without compromising quality or authenticity. • Data-driven mindset with a track record of defining and tracking content performance metrics. • Knowledge of on- and off-page SEO best practices and their application in content strategy.
