This role focuses on physical and virtual servers, virtualization platforms, operating systems, patching, infrastructure monitoring, performance, system availability, and general platform stability. The Senior Associate Infrastructure Administrator supports the compute and systems layer of the Production IT environment and works closely with the team to troubleshoot issues that span servers, virtualization, network connectivity, storage, backups, and hosted production workloads. Effective documentation, collaboration, communication, troubleshooting, and operational discipline are critical for success in this role.
