Travel required up to 50%. Responsibilities • Establish and execute processes for investigating shrink related issues in stores related to theft, vendor and receiving accuracy, inventory counts and system issues. • Field inbound leads and intelligence from Operations Supervisors related to integrity concerns in their stores. • Monitor and review exception reporting produced by various analytics teams, conducting investigations when exceptions result in the detection of dishonest activity or operational shrink concerns. • Leverage knowledge of Asset Protection, RaceTrac and standard retail operations, current and best practice inventory controls, and data & analytics to uncover accurate information about investigations and make recommendations around process or internal controls enhancements. • Leverage SQL databases, PowerBI and Excel to analyze business records and transactions, making investigative connections to our CCTV video evidence and guest/associate interactions. • Effectively document all theft investigations, crimes and acts of violence that take place in stores within AOR. • Respond to and support stores in times of crisis and critical incidents, such as robberies and acts of violence. • Routinely monitor stores for physical security opportunities such as security guard execution, loitering and unwanted guest behavior. • Conduct assessments of stores for compliance in key areas for Asset Protection success such as access controls, CCTV systems, lighting, inventory processes and life safety. • Document and report on impact as it relates to shrink reduction, sales growth, and financial impacts to the business. • Hold routine check-ins with the Director of Operations and Executive Director of Operations to prioritize work and report on findings in the region. • Act as a support partner to HR in times of integrity investigations requiring employment decisions. • Work alongside the Director of Asset Protection to prioritize current casework and investigations.
