Job Description: Currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Public Health System Applications PMP Certified Project Manager for our client’s Department of Public Health (DPH) system applications. These applications are used by our client to improve the physical, socio-emotional health, safety, and well-being of all Kentucky women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families. This position is responsible for overseeing facets of our client’s technology teams supporting Department of Public Health (DPH) system applications. Primary Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To): • Responsible for coordination, planning, and organization of project activities. • Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, vendors, and project staff. • Perform analysis and negotiation of project scope, budget, and schedule and perform management of the vendor contract. • Assist with planning of resources for projects. • Proactively manage and track project risks, issues, budget, and schedule. • Keep business sponsors and management advised of project status. • Ensure that applicable client system design life cycle (SDLC) processes are being followed. • Oversee vendor and project team members' work and deliverables to ensure compliance with contract. • Experience in implementing Federal and/or State regulation changes. • Provide project status reports. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience. • Active PMP Certification. • Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites, (Word, Excel, Project, and Visio). • Demonstrated ability to lead small to large project teams. • Prior IT experience in the public health domain and managing IT projects. • Prior experience managing issues, scope, quality, escalations, and risks. • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, collaborating across business and IT teams. • Proficient in standard project management tools and methodologies, excelling in Microsoft Project, and PMI methodologies. • Must be experienced in management of vendors and contracts for large-scale information technology projects. • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to lead meetings, lead project teams, and communicate effectively at all levels within the project. • Must be self-motivated and able to exercise sound decision making skills. Candidates must have over three years of experience managing Power Platform or Microsoft 365-based projects. Interviews are one round, via video or in-person. The work schedule is remote. Job Description: Our client seeks to establish a staff augmentation contract to support its growing portfolio of data-driven initiatives. Many of these initiatives require the rapid development and deployment of data collection tools using Microsoft Power Platform technologies—specifically PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Our client recognizes that these tools require specialized expertise and capacity beyond their current internal resources. The objective of this contract is to provide skilled personnel who can design, develop, implement, and support custom Power Platform solutions to streamline workflows, improve data collection, and enhance analytics capabilities that support public safety operations and performance management. Required Experience: • Over eight years of project management experience in enterprise software environments. • Over three years managing Power Platform or Microsoft 365-based projects. • Demonstrated experience coordinating with business, technical, and vendor teams. • Experience leading data governance or digital transformation projects. • Prior experience working with a police department or public safety agency is strongly preferred. • Proven track record delivering complex applications on time and within budget.
