Senior Proposal Manager Why We Have This Role This role is pivotal for supporting critical strategic opportunities, offering vital thought leadership and mentorship to our junior global team members, and ensuring the effective management and upkeep of essential team tools and licenses. By bringing in this strategic hire, we aim to free up valuable leadership capacity, optimize resource allocation, improve overall proposal throughput and quality, and ultimately help drive the Global Proposal Team's effectiveness and success. This role will directly contribute to our ability to handle more proposals, increase the quality of our client responses, and reduce friction with our Sales team. Things You’ll Do • Lead the end-to-end management of complex, high-value proposals, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. • Provide mentorship and thought leadership to junior team members, driving skill development and improved team performance. • Oversee critical proposal tools, licenses, and vendor relationships to maintain operational efficiency and resource optimization. • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration across global teams, and boost proposal output quality. • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align proposal operations with strategic goals and support the team’s long-term growth. What We’re Looking For On Your Resume • We focus more on capability and outcomes produced than “typical qualifications” / years of experience. Demonstrate your ability to improve efficiency or maintain high standards in fast-paced environments. • Exceptional command of written and spoken English, with a demonstrated ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
