Position Summary: The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) is responsible for leading and optimizing the operational performance of multiple dermatology practices within an assigned region. This role partners closely with physicians, clinical leaders, and support staff to drive practice growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver an exceptional patient experience. The RDO provides strategic and hands-on leadership across clinic operations, staffing, financial performance, compliance, and team development. This individual plays a critical role in maximizing provider productivity, improving patient access and flow, and fostering a culture aligned with QualDerm Partners’ values, quality standards, and growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a proven healthcare operations leader with strong analytical skills, the ability to lead through change, and a passion for developing high-performing teams. Job Location(s): North Carolina with occasional coverage to West Virginia and Virginia. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive regional performance by achieving or exceeding operational and financial targets through analysis of revenue, productivity, scheduling, patient flow, and utilization trends. Optimize physician and advanced practice provider schedules, including vacation planning, to maximize access, efficiency, and revenue performance. Lead and enhance clinic operations to improve operational efficiency, service excellence, provider satisfaction, and overall practice performance. Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain high-performing clinic leadership and staff; oversee performance management, payroll, and time/attendance processes. Provide hands-on leadership and coaching to practice leaders, addressing operational challenges, team development needs, and provider or staff concerns. Ensure appropriate staffing models, schedules, and coverage levels through regular staffing and productivity analysis. Oversee ordering and management of medical equipment and supplies to support clinical operations and cost controls. Partner in financial and economic performance initiatives, including labor management, supply expense control, and other direct clinic cost drivers. Ensure delivery of an exceptional and consistent patient experience across all clinics within the region. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, MIPS, and all applicable state and federal regulations. Prepare for and actively participate in leadership and management meetings, contributing to regional and enterprise-wide initiatives. Perform additional duties as needed to support the success and growth of QualDerm Partners’ operations. Bachelor's Degree: Public Health, Business Administration or Health Care Finance or related field. 3+ years of health care administrative operations experience in upper-level management and supervision. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. The Triage Specialist performs effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients based on their needs. This includes answering phones, relaying pathology results, scheduling appointments, and documenting conversations in the EMA system. | Candidates must have a High School Diploma or higher and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant. Purpose: The purpose of a Triage Specialist is to perform effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients based on their needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answer phones/returning voicemails to handle all questions and/or transfer accordingly. Understand and relay stat emergent situations, pathology results, navigate EMA/EMR-faxes, tasks, general knowledge. Relay pathology results including biopsies, scheduling returns and minor procedures. New patient scheduling, making charts and notes. Answer questions to patient’s satisfaction using basic medical terminology and understanding. Document all conversations appropriately in EMA. Schedule various surgeries in template according to provider specific needs and guidelines. Prioritize skin cancers based on type, subtype, size, location and aggressive nature. Explain Mohs procedures to patients – what to expect. Perform and complete pre-op assessments and send in required antibiotics or other medications, if necessary, under the guidelines set by providers. High School Diploma or higher 3 years minimum experience as a Medical Assistant CCMA/RMA Certification preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with answering phones, voicemails, medical understanding of surgical procedures, common pathology diagnoses, stat emergent situations, charting and patient scheduling. Position Summary This position works with a professional team of physicians and other staff who are trained in the medical and surgical specialty of dermatology with the purpose to be patient focused with the objective of delivering superior patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience and outcome. The Billing/Coding Specialist is responsible for the billing/coding needs of all QualDerm Partners practices and providers, as assigned. This position is supervised by the Lead, Coding and Billing and/or Manager, Accounts Receivable. Essential Responsibilities • Evaluates medical record documentation and coding to optimize reimbursement by ensuring that diagnostic and procedural codes and other documentation accurately reflects and supports outpatient visits and to ensure that data complies with legal standards and guidelines. • Review and audits medical records for correct CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for multiple providers in each practice throughout the Company. • Monitors progress resulting from periodic audits and communicates with the Lead, Coding and Billing or Manager, Accounts Receivable. • Maintains required CEUs. • Performs coding and billing for multiple provider encounters. • Analyze code, interpret and compile medical information/records to document patient condition and treatment. • Code, prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies via electronic and paper submissions. • Monitor claim rejection queue, investigate and resolve claim rejections. • Keep Billing-Coding Team Lead informed as necessary related to coding/billing/documentation. • Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission & Value Statement • High school graduate or GED. • Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coder-Apprentice (CPC-A), Certified Dermatology Coder (CDC), or other applicable coding certification. • 0-3 years of experience in medical coding/reimbursement; experience with dermatology coding/billing is a plus. • Mod Med/EMA practice management system experience preferred. • Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines; medical terminology; anatomy and physiology; state and federal Medicare reimbursement guidelines. • Ability to research and analyze data, draw conclusions, and resolve issues; read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. • Ability to exercise independent judgment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and related documents and to maintain working relationships with physicians and other staff. • Be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently while in a remote working environment. • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of medical information.
