The Manager of Clinical Services, Regulatory manages and directs the day-to-day activities of a Clinical Services Operations team. This role ensures that the team meets the statement of work requirements outlined for each assigned facility. | Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, or a healthcare field, along with 2-3 years of experience managing projects and leading team operations. Job Summary: Under the direction of a Senior Manager, the Manager of Clinical Services, Regulatory manages and directs the day-to-day activities of a Clinical Services Operations team, ensuring we meet the statement of work requirements outlined for each assigned facility. Essential Functions: Leadership and People Management of abstractors, including onboarding, coaching and performance management Actively assist or coordinate initiatives to obtain maximum abstractor efficiency Provide operational analysis of teams, including report generation on overall client deliverables Partner with Senior Manager to proactively manage revenue and margin for your portfolio of projects, and pursue improvement efforts as needed Collaborate with Project Management team on new project implementations. Ensure CSL & CDL have a clear understanding of the scope of work and support resolving barriers Support consistency of products and services delivered to clients across all projects Required Abilities, Education, and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, or a healthcare field 2-3 years of experience managing projects, leading team operations Proven leadership experience that has made an impact on people management and operational process Excellent communication skills; written and verbal Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of team operations and client services Eagerness to maintain high levels of client satisfaction through management of staffing, workflow process and quality Maintains a high degree of responsibility in keeping PHI secure and confidential per corporate compliance policies Proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel) Preferred Abilities, Education and Skills: 1+ years of experience managing staff Clinical abstraction experience Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise and coach team members In partnership with the CSL, ensure workloads are balanced across each team member Manage all administrative functions related to people management including review of Q-Apps worklogs, timecard approval, time off request approval, etc. Supervise team members’ performance utilizing productivity and quality assessments and monitoring adherence to organizational and client policies/ procedures to ensure compliance Support and mentor CSL & CDL Complete performance enablement processes, including goal setting and performance appraisals for team members working on assigned facilities in collaboration with Leadership Increase team member engagement and retention through on-going coaching and feedback, ensuring each team member has professional development opportunities and is recognized for their accomplishments Foster an inclusive work environment, ensuring team members are valued for diversity of thought/bringing new ideas and encouraging collaboration In partnership with People Team, identify and manage performance concerns In partnership with Talent Acquisition, interview candidates and finalize hiring recommendations Other duties as needed Work environment/Physical Demands: Continuous sitting and fine manipulation. The target salary range for this role is $78,000 - $85,000 plus an annual bonus targeted at 10% of the individual's annual salary. An individual’s salary within this range is based on multiple factors including but not limited to skills, experiences, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational considerations. The annual bonus payout may be higher or lower than target, dependent on individual and company performance and is considered variable pay.
