YOU ARE: An Infrastructure Systems Engineer, who will be a primary operational owner of our infrastructure systems - handling day-to-day support, incident response, change execution, and maintenance across the platform stack. Operational excellence is the foundation of this role, not a secondary responsibility. From that foundation, you'll also contribute to the automation, tooling, and architectural work that gradually shifts the team toward a less reactive future. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: • Design, operate, and support AWS-based infrastructure across a multi-account environment, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational clarity • Support and evolve our EKS/Kubernetes platform - clusters, underlying AWS infrastructure, networking integrations, and shared platform components • Contribute to and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, including shared modules and production repositories • Work across DNS, DHCP, routing, load balancing, and WAF technologies (Imperva primary; broad understanding of AWS ALB/NLB) to support application traffic and secure access patterns • Participate in Active Directory architecture, administration, and integration with cloud and platform services • Share ownership of SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management - a core responsibility of the Infrastructure Operations group • Build automation and tooling in Bash, PowerShell, or similar to streamline provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows • Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate troubleshooting, draft and improve runbooks, and reduce repetitive operational overhead - with a practical focus on where AI adds real value in day-to-day infrastructure work • Collaborate with application, security, and network teams using GitOps-style workflows (GitHub, CI pipelines, change review) • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule and CAB reviews for significant infrastructure changes • Drive new architecture, expansion, and modernization efforts alongside ownership of existing systems YOU'LL BRING: • Hands-on experience with core infrastructure: DNS, DHCP, routing, load balancing, and Linux/Windows operating systems and services • Strong working knowledge of AWS, including multi-account environments • Practical experience with Terraform and IaC principles, including contributing to shared repositories • Experience supporting Kubernetes/EKS or comparable container platforms • Comfort using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) to accelerate infrastructure work - writing scripts, diagnosing issues, or exploring unfamiliar systems • Familiarity with WAF and traffic management concepts (Imperva a strong plus) • Experience designing, administering, and integrating Active Directory environments • Scripting fluency in Bash, PowerShell, or similar - building one-off tooling, bootstrap automation, and deployment workflows • Comfort operating in production with shared ownership, change management, and on-call responsibility • Ability to collaborate effectively across platform, network, security, and application teams • AI-enabled tools are already part of how work gets done across our organization, and their use will continue to expand over time. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: Leverage the latest technology and tools to deliver scalable, maintainable code Operate in a hybrid environment, including on-prem and multi-cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) Collaborate and participate in developing solutions together in cross-discipline teams Actively participate in code reviews, leveraging code reviews to enforce best practices and software craftsmanship Every engineer plays a part in the development and evolution of our technology roadmap, and we get to try out a lot of new and exciting emerging technologies as well as contribute to product evaluations as we select new software and tools to deploy in our environments Demonstrate a high-sense of ownership and accountability for work produced Ability to contribute to team success, as well as your own individual success YOU’LL BRING: Core Programming Expertise: Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g., C# .NET 6+) with proficiency in concepts such as collections, lambdas, functional programming, and concurrency/multithreading. Frameworks & Tools: Proficiency in enterprise application frameworks, including .NET Core/.NET 6+, and familiarity with dependency injection and modular application design. Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework. Microservices Architecture: Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying microservices in production environments. Cloud Platforms: Expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with cloud-native tools and platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker). AWS preferred. DevOps Practices: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and build tools such as MSBuild/NuGet. Database Expertise: Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). System Performance: Skilled in runtime tuning, profiling tools, and performance optimization for enterprise-scale applications. API Development: Deep understanding of RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and API security best practices. Preferred Skills Experience in Financial institution with focus on Lending. Expertise with AWS. Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito). As the Director of Infrastructure and Operations you will be responsible for leading the IT infrastructure and operations team, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the company’s IT systems. This role oversees network infrastructure, cloud services, data centers, ITSM operations, while driving efficiency, reliability, and innovation in IT service delivery. What You’ll Do: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure and operations to align with business objectives. Lead and manage teams responsible for networks, cloud infrastructure, data centers and IT service management Execute Cloud Migration Journey and exit out of datacenters. Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Hold high standards for achieving availability of all teams. Ensure timely and effective resolution of IT issues. Work closely with Information security team to Implement IT security policies and best practices to protect company data and systems. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT infrastructure services. Monitor and optimize IT infrastructure costs while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Support compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as SOC 2, PCII, SOX etc. are met. Lead the adoption of cloud computing, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and agility. Collaborate with various business units to understand requirements and deliver IT solutions that support growth and operational excellence. Mentor and develop IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Optimize ITIL & ITSM process within Operations Manage by metrics & show value add for Operations and Infrastructure space Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master's degree preferred) (or equivalent experience) 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT systems. AWS experience Preferred Experience managing data centers, virtualization, and IT service management frameworks (ITIL). Proven track record of achieving 99.99% availability of the critical systems and applications Proven track record in leading and delivering large-scale IT projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management related to IT infrastructure. Experience managing SRE teams Experience running Command Center is must Experience running L2 support teams Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, AWS/Azure certifications). Experience with DevOps, automation, and AI-driven IT operations. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern IT service delivery models.
