Identify and develop new customer segments and markets, define value propositions, and execute market entry strategies. | Experience in market development, strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and industry knowledge in packaging or manufacturing. | Printpack is seeking a strategic and innovative Market Development Manager I or II to identify and develop new customer segments, markets, and differentiated value propositions within the flexible packaging industry. This role will be instrumental in driving growth, innovation, and competitive positioning in a rapidly evolving market landscape. Key Responsibilities: • Identify high-potential customer segments and emerging markets. • Define winning value propositions and market differentiators. • Analyze market gaps, trends, and competitive positioning. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Operations, Procurement, HR, and Customer Experience teams. • Develop and execute market entry strategies. • Build strategic alliances with external stakeholders and industry partners. Qualifications: • Experience in market development, business strategy, or product management • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry is a plus Strategic Planning and Execution: • Conduct competitive, situational, segment, and niche analyses to determine market potential and areas of penetration. • Create, refine, and execute go-to-market strategies for business development and market growth opportunities. • Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic plans to capitalize on market growth opportunities, commercialize new products and new technologies. • Understand Printpack's competitive position in the marketplace, identify uncovered customer prospects, and work with sales & sales management to ensure we engage to grow market share. • Conduct primary market research to understand the voice of the customer, retailers, and consumers to determine how best to position and differentiate vs. competition. Sales Support and Enablement: • Work with Sales to develop and execute customer strategies to strengthen and expand customer relationships. • Use the Printpack Sales Accelerator process and tools to drive opportunities through to commercial sales. • Introduce new products/markets to our sales force along with all support materials needed to enable them to execute sales plans. • Attend customer meetings as the subject matter expert to help facilitate opportunities in new markets Innovation: • Lead innovation activities required to support the needs of assigned markets and products. • Coordinate and facilitate innovation discussions, including innovation sessions with customers. • Play an active role in the Printpack Innovation process - ideation, scouting, new product screening, developing/evaluating the business case, and new product pipeline management. • Identifies and structures opportunities for partnerships and open innovation activities. Maintain and support JDE E1 system administration tasks including upgrades, security, performance tuning, and collaboration with developers and IT teams. | Experience with JDE E1 system administration (9.2 preferred), SQL skills, Linux knowledge, and preferably project management and OneView reporting experience. | Printpack is seeking a JDE E1 Systems Administrator (CNC) who is responsible for handling ESUs, ASUs, support pack upgrades, security tasks, printing operations, batch queues, task views, performance tuning activities, and other E1 system tasks while coordinating with the managed services provider. This role uses JDE E1 Tools to create orchestrations, personalized pages, and OneView pages, and oversee servers and package builds, as well as implementations. Additionally, the JDE E1 Systems Administrators works closely with developers, functional leads, and end users to address issues, gather requirements, and ensure effective system functionality. The role is an individual contributor, technical role with no direct reports. This role reports into the IT Applications Development Sr. Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • JDE E1 CNC Duties, including • Maintain a stable and scalable JDE system and architecture. • Aid developers and IT project managers in their development, testing, and debugging • Evaluate, recommend, and execute JDE E1 roles and user security requests. • Research, implement, and upgrade AllOut security • Support of Oracle WebLogic, Linux and Windows servers, Oracle database and AIS servers as they relate to the JDE E1 system. • Troubleshoot and resolve helpdesk tickets as it relates to JDE E1 technical issues of developers' workstation and end-user PCs. • Accountable for everyday maintenance, spot updates and testing, OMW installation, promotions, monitor and manage application system efficiency and accessibility. • Perform regular analysis of alerts, system logs and diagnostic files to identify and address recurring issues, configuration anomalies, or performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to implement long-term corrective actions. • Utilize JDE E1 Tools to develop Orchestrations, OneView pages and Personalized Forms. • Remain current and up to date with software architecture, ESU, ASU, and promotion procedures, performance, and other CNC components. • Research ESU, ASU and perform Impact analysis for developers and IT Project Managers. • Plan, test, and execute JDE E1 Tools and application upgrades • Cross-Functional Collaboration • Collaborate with other IT groups for example Windows, and DBA to establish new best practices as well as support JDE including performance tuning. • Work as part of a cross-functional team as well as independently following established project plans and project management procedures. • Communicate with internal IT teams and users on scheduled maintenance, issues, and other notices having to do with the JDE system • Collaborate with vendors and managed service providers for continual improvement of systems and processes • Other duties including • Manage and administer Cloud Inventory Mobile Enterprise Platform (MEP) • Build solutions in low-code and rapid application development tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, K-Rise EASYProcess, and Cloud Inventory/DSI application development. • Write SQL to research and troubleshoot JDE issues, make configuration changes, and assist the development and DBA teams • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal documentation and process standardization • Apply working knowledge of Linux fundamentals to support project requirements and maintain productivity in mixed-OS environments QUALIFICATIONS: Education: • Bachelor's degree in an IT or Engineering field of study preferred Experience: • Experience in project management preferred. • Experience with OneView Reporting preferred. • Experience with AllOut Security preferred. • Hands on, technical experience with SQL • Experience with JDE E1 system administration (9.2 release preferred) This job is performed remotely or from our Corporate office or other Printpack locations.
