The Role The Digital Workspace Solutions Architect has responsibility for account team enablement task such as meeting with Presidio account teams to assist with Digital Workspace Strategy, meeting with clients to develop statements of work, BOMs, or presentations, and overall customer and vendor planning and development Responsibilities include: • Working as part of the sales and technical team, attending customer meetings; must be comfortable presenting to and communicating with all levels of staff from Helpdesk to C-Level • Collecting business and technical requirements • Driving whiteboard conversations • Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations • Supporting proof-of-concept efforts, creating Bill of Materials (BOMs) • Creating and delivering proposals and accomplishing related results as needed • Assisting Consulting Engineer team with project delivery. • Ability to work with minimal direction in a team environment to drive business • Provide daily work direction to the solutions architect vertical. • Serve as the primary escalation path for both solutions architects and clients, and engage upper management when necessary. • Assist with pre/post-sales calls with sales and clients such as IKO and EKO meetings. • Provide regular status updates to engineering managers to keep them informed about issues, impediments, escalations and necessary resources. • Provides areas for improvement and has direct influence on training/validating new processes. • Engages on developing new products and new solutions • Attend daily meetings with clients when necessary to review high priority issues and provide/accept guidance on issues affecting their internal infrastructure. Responsibilities Include • Develop and deploy plans and strategies to grow marketplace pipeline opportunities for AWS, MSFT and GCP cloud • Develop and deploy plans and strategies to grow a cloud marketplace center of excellence in all sales leaders and AM’s. • Deeply engaged with Presidio sales and account management teams to support achievement of marketplace sales targets and new client acquisition targets. • Coordinate with Presidio sales Account Managers to meet defined AWS, MSFT and GCP marketplace cloud performance, engagement, and revenue growth objectives. • Collaborate with Presidio Account Managers to drive consistency in brand, metrics, and Go-To-Market messaging for AWS Cloud • Serve as the primary regional liaison between Presidio and the AWS, MSFT and GCP Partner Sales , • Identify and collaborate on conference and event strategy for AWS, MSFT and GCP, Regional Summits, etc., demand generation, networking events and executive meetings surrounding the regional AWS relationships • Manage performance standards via scorecards and data gathering required to evaluate and manage performance of the partnerships • Identify opportunities to leverage AWS partner funding and work with local market leaders to apply funds to existing client opportunities. Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience • 7+ years of working experience in systems engineering or solution architecture • 5+ years of experience with AWS solutions • Presales experience & experience in a consulting role • An understanding and knowledge of Cloud Migration frameworks and strategies • Previous hands-on experience of migrating workloads to AWS • An understanding and knowledge of Cloud adoption models and approaches • Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of one or more of the following is required: • Cloud Management Platforms: Service Now, Jira, Miro Focus Cloud Service Automation, VMware vRealize Automation, Cloudify, Morpheus, Cloudbolt, Turbonomics • Compute and Storage Architectures & Platforms • SDDC & Virtualization: VMware, Red Hat, HyperV, Nutanix • Data Protection Platforms: Dell EMC, Rubrik, Veeam, Cohesity, Commvault • Container platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu • Infrastructure as Code Tools: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager • Demonstrated comfort leading presentations, solution demonstrations and whiteboard sessions • Drive for trying new ideas and actively seek mentoring and coaching Additional Desired Skills: • Knowledge and experience with design, implementation and/or support of one or more of the following is preferred: • Network Route & Switch • Security, Compliance & Governance frameworks and tools • CI/CD pipelines and tools: Jenkins, Concourse • Authentication / Authorization, Directory services • Agile practices and frameworks: Kanban, SAFe, Scrum • Experience with DevOps strongly preferred • Cloud platform certifications: Cloud Solution Architect with AWS • Program management or project management experience • Experience driving complex multi-discipline IT projects • Experience and/or ability to prepare RFP/RFI response, proposals and solutions • Demonstrated comfort leading CIO/CTO level presentations, solution demonstrations and whiteboard sessions E • Experience with reviewing and/or writing statements of work (SOW) and Bill of Material (BoM) for various types of projects in support of Cloud and datacenter solutions • **** Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
