Team members may live in the following locations: Mexico, Colombia, or El Salvador Your Mission: Enhance the team’s capacity to deliver assigned stories by end of sprint Deliver Value: Develop software features for relatively complex features with the support of more senior engineers during AgileDev engagements and address defects and enhancement requests. Develop Collaboratively: Participate in successful Agile delivery by seeking guidance, raising concerns, advancing best practices, identifying blockers, and mentoring peers and more junior team members. Become Fullstack: Demonstrate competency at two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data driven REST APIs, administering databases/cloud/servers. Communicate Value: Collaborate with client stakeholders during sprint planning to finalize and document technical approach with user stories as subtasks. Your Day-to-Day: Key Activities: Ensuring the team understands acceptance criteria, tracking daily progress, limit team’s QA kickback, deliver stories as assigned, find opportunities to increase capacity and velocity How a Current Praxenter Describes The Role: “I spend a lot of the sprint planning and delegating technical work for other devs, anticipating how to deliver as much value for the client via efficiency and tech debt prevention. This has the added benefit of allow assigned devs to grow technically while also reducing as many unknowns as possible in the cone of uncertainty. It’s my job to keep in sync with delivery leads on priorities, team allocation, risks, etc, as well as act as the technical interface for the client to help guide them without overloading them with technical jargon.” Your Qualifications: Technical Proficiency: demonstrable experience with at least two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data driven REST APIs, administering databases/cloud/servers. Practical Experience: 5-8+ years professional experience in relevant technology and projects, including ongoing adherence to best practices, and experience applying DevOps practices Experience in building .NET applications. Expertise in designing and implementing server-side applications using .NET and C#, with a focus on creating secure, efficient RESTful APIs and working with databases like SQL Server. Experience in building interactive and responsive user interfaces using front end technologies with Angular.JS and Angular 2+, Skilled in integrating front-end and back-end components, with a solid understanding of application architecture, allowing for seamless data flow and enhanced user experiences across full stack applications. Here are the roles we hire for in our US based Engineering Department: • Associate Software Engineer: Early-career engineer focused on learning, delivering defined stories, collaborating closely with senior team members, and building foundational skills across UI, APIs, or cloud. • Software Engineer: Independent contributor who delivers complex stories, contributes best practices, mentors juniors informally, and demonstrates growing full-stack capabilities. • Senior Software Engineer: Experienced engineer who consistently enhances team velocity, mentors others, drives quality, and designs features with novel or complex technical approaches. • Staff Software Engineer: Technical leader within a project who guides development, supports team capacity, ensures high-quality delivery, and contributes to architectural decisions. • Principal Software Engineer: Senior technical expert who architects complex solutions, leads development teams, drives estimation and DevOps maturity, and ensures sprint commitments and project success. • Associate Technical Director: Hands-on delivery leader responsible for end-to-end technical oversight, managing scope and risks, leading code audits/POCs, and ensuring successful project outcomes. • Technical Director: Senior technical leader overseeing multiple client engagements, ensuring successful delivery, mentoring managers/coaches, and driving quality and technical excellence across teams.
