The Role We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Mobile Product Engineer to join our founding product team and build consumer-facing mobile applications that make stablecoin transfers feel seamless and familiar. This role is primarily focused on mobile and frontend development, with secondary responsibilities in backend services and blockchain integration as needed. You will contribute across the stack to deliver polished, user-friendly features, with a focus on product engineering rather than protocol development. What You Will Do • Design and develop mobile applications using React Native and Expo, with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and motion design • Build responsive web applications and reusable UI components for stablecoin wallets, transaction flows, and financial interactions • Ensure consistency and quality across iOS and Android platforms through testing, polish, and design collaboration • Develop and maintain mobile-first design systems in close partnership with product and design teams • Integrate mobile apps with backend services and blockchain infrastructure to enable secure wallet functionality and real-time updates • Build APIs for mobile clients and implement transaction signing, balance updates, and error recovery logic • Drive product quality through testing strategies, continuous delivery practices, and attention to UX detail Who You Are • 5+ years of experience in fullstack and mobile development, with deep expertise in React Native and modern JavaScript frameworks • Proficient in TypeScript, with strong experience using Expo and deploying mobile apps to iOS and Android platforms • Skilled in state management tools such as Redux, MobX, or Zustand, with a focus on clean architecture and scalability • Strong eye for design, with a track record of delivering polished, intuitive mobile user experiences • Comfortable working across the stack, with backend experience in Node.js and API integration (REST and GraphQL) • Experience building real-time features using WebSocket or similar technologies • Experience with mobile wallet security, such as biometric authentication, and secure key storage • Understanding of mobile-specific blockchain challenges, such as WalletConnect integration and deep linking • Experience optimizing React Native apps for performance • A high degree of ownership and product intuition, with a focus on quality, performance, and reliability Nice to Have • Experience with stablecoin protocols (USDC, USDT, DAI) • Previous fintech or payments experience Our Stack • Mobile: React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Reanimated • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS • State Management: Zustand, TanStack Query • Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis • Blockchain: Ethers.js, WalletConnect, Web3 providers • Infrastructure: Vercel, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP • Tools: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Sentry, Analytics Salary and Benefits Benefits for full-time employees include an above-market salary, a generous ownership package, comprehensive insurance coverage, and generous paid time off.

The Role We are looking for a Fullstack Product Engineer to join our product team and build the infrastructure and applications that power stablecoin payments. This role is primarily backend-focused, with work across APIs, services, and relevant integrations, with occasional support for frontend or mobile development. You will ship user-facing products, and contribute across the stack to deliver high-impact features quickly and reliably. What You Will Do • Design and implement high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs for stablecoin payments and financial operations • Integrate backend services with Plasma’s blockchain infrastructure using libraries like Web3.js and Ethers.js • Build services to process blockchain events and maintain application state consistency • Define and optimize database schemas for transactional throughput and financial data integrity • Implement caching and indexing strategies for wallet balances and transaction history • Develop WebSocket services to deliver real-time transaction updates to users and systems • Create robust error handling and retry logic for blockchain and DeFi protocol interactions • Set up performance monitoring, tracing, and alerting across backend services • Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts and support internal tooling development • Build admin dashboards and internal tools for operations, customer support, and debugging • Write clear API documentation and maintain backend support for frontend feature development Who You Are • 3+ years experience as a full stack engineer with a strong focus on backend development • Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript, with deep expertise in Node.js and API design (REST and GraphQL) • Hands-on experience integrating blockchain infrastructure using Web3.js or Ethers.js • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka) • Have a deep understanding of crypto UX patterns and interactions • Skilled in relational databases like PostgreSQL and caching with Redis • Comfortable working across the stack, with experience in React or similar frontend frameworks • High attention to detail, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments • A bias for action and ownership, capable of driving complex features from design through deployment • Familiarity with core blockchain concepts including gas optimization, transaction lifecycle, wallet interactions, etc Nice to Have • Experience with stablecoin protocols (USDC, USDT, DAI) • Previous fintech or payments experience • Experience with regulatory compliance in financial services Our Stack • Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis • Blockchain: Ethers.js, Web3.js, Hardhat • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, TanStack Query • Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Terraform • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Sentry • Development: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing Salary and Benefits Benefits for full-time employees include an above-market salary, a generous ownership package, comprehensive insurance coverage, and generous paid time off.
