The Software Engineer will serve as a development lead or team member on multiple web-based, database-driven application projects, performing system requirements analysis, application design, development, testing, and implementation. They will also provide support and guidance to development teams and ensure thorough documentation of all deliverables. | Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of application development experience, with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Oracle PL/SQL. A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience working on client-facing projects is also required. | Overview Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), a Government Contractor, has an immediate opportunity available for Software Engineer who will provide supports the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service with Software Development and Software Operations and Maintenance Support. Specifically, we use AGILE to enhance application functionality for the portfolio of current applications as well as developing new ones. Platforms could include Java, JavaScript, SharePoint, APEZX, Appian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, Drupal/Acquia, Akamai and/or development on COTS platforms. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Serve as development lead or development team member on multiple, concurrent web-based, database-driven, custom application development projects; Perform system requirements analysis, application design, development, testing and implementation; Develop applications based on user requirements including user interface, database development, and middle-tier application components; Work on systems integration projects that may require knowledge of .xml file construction and parsing as well as other extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes and tools; Provide support and guidance to the development teams during the design, development, and testing processes; Write database triggers and PL/SQL stored procedures and packages according to business requirements; Troubleshoot application defects and performance issues; Design, develop and/or generate reports based on business requirements; Assist in application performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning; Ensure that all deliverables are thoroughly documented; Create, manage, and update continuous integration (CI) / continuous delivery (CD) pipelines using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Maven, SonarQube, etc.; Mentor the team on standard best practices around CI/CD function to improve quality, reduce risk, increase security, promote efficiency, and minimize costs; Develop scalable and maintainable J2EE applications within an Oracle web, application, and database tiers; Develop new and/or modify technical and application architecture for new or existing applications; Communicate both written and verbal programmatic requirements with stakeholders; Develop application data models and work with existing complex data models and object relational database mappings; Develop reports utilizing Cognos Business Intelligence software; Develop customized J2EE workflow applications, data entry applications, law related business applications, and some level of GIS expertise preferred. The Credentialing Specialist will manage the verification process for healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with ARNG-CSG policies. We are curretnly seeking a Credentialing Specialist for Army National Guard Credentialing contract. The purpose of this overall project is to provide centralized credentialing and privileging services and support to the Army National Guard (ARNG) Office of the Chief Surgeon (CSG) with initial entry credentialing, maintenance of credentialing and privileging, and support the Centralized Credentials Privileging Board’s review of completed credentials and privileging files. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Individual will be responsible for managing the verification process for all healthcare professionals (physicians, dentists, nursing, allied health). This includes reviewing applications for completion, verification of state licensure, collecting information contained in the national physician data bank, collecting information from the Health Care Integrity and Protection Databank, collection of information from State Licensing activities well as their State Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals. Job duties will specifically also include: Implementing ARNG-CSG policies and standards to ensure that credentialing operations are in compliance. Working with applicants and ARNG-CSG staff to support and enhance credentialing functions. Completing verifications and ensuring that the organization and staff are in accordance with ARNG-CSG directives and industry trends and standard credentialing procedures. Compiling all documents and building credential review files for review by the Centralized Credentials Privileging Board and documenting results. Generating and emailing notification letters of credentialing results to applicants and/or responding to questions from applicants regarding status of credentialing. Data entry into CCQAS as the official system of record. Minimum Requirements Two years of experience in medical credentialing to include overall knowledge of the credentialing and privileging process, what are the required credentials for health care professionals, and the appropriate sources used to complete PSV and databank queries. Additionally, familiar with or ability to utilize all applicable policies, guidelines, regulations for the DoD credentialing process. One plus years of credentialing experience with the DoD utilizing CCQAS/ JCCQAS. Must have ability to interface with all levels of military medical staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent customer relationship skill sets. Skills with use of MS Office, i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Organization skills and ability to be detail-oriented and accurate in work produced. Certification from National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) (preferred) Desired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, or related field. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered. Experience in Quality Assurance preferred. Experience in the DOD credentials process preferred.
