Position Summary The Senior Manager, Region Chains is responsible for driving commercial performance across key regional chain accounts in Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. The Senior Manager will lead sell-in and execution of programming, manage account relationships, and deliver results against volume, distribution, and promotional KPIs. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: • Execute regional chain strategies to deliver volume, NNS, and category share growth across AZ, NV & CO. • Manage relationships with regional buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers within assigned chain retail accounts (e.g., grocery, drug, club, and liquor chains). • Partner with distributor teams to ensure effective sell-in and execution of national and regional programming. • Collaborate with National Accounts, Area and State Commercial Leads to translate national plans into local execution, including pricing, promotion, inventory, and POS/VAP support. • Monitor and analyze performance KPIs including distribution, pricing, shelf space, and promotional ROI; recommend adjustments to improve outcomes. • Support development of annual operating plans (AOPs) and contribute to forecasting and performance tracking for assigned accounts. • Leverage syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) and shopper insights to inform customer-specific programming and execution. • Facilitate customer reviews and performance routines to ensure alignment and accountability. • Foster collaboration with Channel Marketing and internal stakeholders to support market-level needs. • Promote a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and performance excellence within the team and with partners. • Travel within AZ, NV & CO to support account management, distributor engagement, and execution (estimated 40%). What you’ll do Serve as the primary Pernod Ricard USA contact for approximately 50 key on-premise accounts, building strong, consultative relationships. Drive portfolio performance by executing monthly and quarterly sales programs and activating brand-specific initiatives aligned with market priorities. Increase brand visibility through strategic placement of point-of-sale materials and execution of consumer sampling events. Collaborate with distributor partners and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and follow-through on customer needs. Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within your territory, leveraging market trends and consumer insights. Manage budgets, track sales activity, and maintain accurate records using mobile and desktop tools. The State Manager GEM will help develop, implement, and manage performance for an alternative Route to Market (RTM) strategy targeting under-prioritized spirits brands. Reporting to the Area Vice President GEM, this role supports the growth of The Gem Portfolio—currently generating $120M in NNS, with a goal of reaching $250M by FY27. Once fully operational, the portfolio will work with about 10 distribution partners across open, control, and franchise states, navigating significant complexity. Success requires cross-functional collaboration, distributor engagement at senior levels, and strong relationship-building.
