Interim Digital Home Editor, BHG BHG is seeking a temporary Home Editor to support digital content production and operations. You should have a strong foundation as a writer and editor, with familiarity with digital publishing best practices and working in a CMS, and a passion for lifestyle home content (decor and design, cleaning and organizing, home improvement, etc.). You will oversee freelance publishing and collaborate with the home team to support cross-platform initiatives. In this role, you will report to and work closely with our Home Director, and you will partner with our team of editors to produce high-quality content and editorial programs for BHG.com to support brand growth priorities. The Home Editor should have experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for enforcing deadlines, generating on-brand article ideas, and maintaining a consistent publishing schedule. Strong organization, communication, and time management skills are essential. Assignment Details: 40 hours a week Start date: 1/12/26 End date: 6/5/26 Hourly Rate: $35 Location: Remote - US, Des Moines, IA, or NYC, NY Assignment Responsibilities: • 50%: Edit and publish content from freelance writers • 20%: Pitch story ideas based on past performers, and write articles • 10%: Work with home team (Home Director, Associate Editor) to map out digital home edit calendar • 10%: Help produce best-in-class content for our sales and marketing collaborations as needed • 10%: Pitch in on ad hoc, team-wide initiatives to meet changing goals Education: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience Experience: • 3+ years of experience writing, editing, and curating digital content for a large digital publisher Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities: • A strong passion for home content.
