Oversee daily restaurant operations including staff management, inventory control, food preparation supervision, budgeting, and customer service. | Proven restaurant management experience, knowledge of food preparation, POS proficiency, leadership skills, and ability to manage budgets and inventory. | Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires effective team management, ensuring that all staff members are trained and motivated to provide an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure availability of supplies. • Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. • Utilize POS systems (Toast) for cash handling and transaction management. • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. • Coordinate special events, catering services, and banquet operations as needed. • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Skills • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. • Familiarity with quick service & fast food operations as well as fine dining experiences. • Proficient in using POS systems (Toast) for efficient transaction processing. • Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial reporting. • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training & development. • Effective communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. • Background in inventory control, budgeting, and operational efficiency. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
