About the Team Data is at the core of Outreach's strategy. It drives our product and our customers to the highest levels of success. We use it to derive customer health scores and revenue dashboards, monitor operational metrics of our AWS infrastructure, increase product engagement and user productivity through natural language understanding, and power predictive insights and causal inference via experimentation. The Business Systems Data Engineering team is on a mission to bring relevant data to every person at Outreach while advancing the use of data and promoting an insight-centric culture. We are a centralized resource providing a suite of services to Outreach business functions across Finance, Analytics, and Support systems, with data as the critical component to a seamless experience. About the Role: We are seeking a strategic and technically focused Director of Technical Consulting & AI Transformation to lead a high-performing team of technical architects, technical consultants, and engineers. This team partners with enterprise customers to guide complex implementations, activate advanced AI capabilities, and drive measurable business outcomes. You’ll play a central role in our services-led growth strategy—accelerating time-to-value and influencing product evolution through real-world customer insight. With a strong foundation in AI/ML deployment, you’ll lead customers through use case design, model optimization, and enterprise-grade delivery of Outreach’s platform. Your Daily Adventures Will Include: • Lead and scale a team of technical architects and consultants delivering complex technical solutions and AI-powered transformations. • Embed into strategic accounts to accelerate adoption, gather deep feedback, and operationalize scalable solutions. • Drive customer AI transformation initiatives by identifying use cases and leading implementation of predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and workflow optimization. • Guide customers through data preparation, model integration, and deployment best practices. • Own the strategy and execution of Outreach’s technical delivery standards to ensure high-quality, scalable, and repeatable implementations. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success to influence roadmap and support AI capability rollout. • Support high-impact pre-sales engagements through technical scoping, solution design, and proof-of-value efforts. • Define and track delivery KPIs (e.g., time-to-value, platform adoption, performance metrics) to drive operational excellence. • Contribute to Outreach’s AI thought leadership and represent customer needs in product development discussions.
