Lead global security strategy and emergency response systems, manage crisis and physical security, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across all facilities. | Bachelor’s degree, 15+ years law enforcement experience with FBI or Secret Service preferred, active TOP SECRET SCI clearance, knowledge of security regulations, and ability to travel internationally. | Position: Director – Global Security & Emergency Response Location: Houston, TX Relocation Available The Director - Global Security and Emergency Response, is responsible for all security related matters including operations, protection of tangible and intangible assets, and crisis response for Olin’s corporate organization, Chemicals and Winchester. This position will identify, monitor, address and respond to enterprise level risk/threats while developing and delivering preventative programs and services to protect enterprise personnel and assets. The Director is responsible for developing and implementing Global Security and Emergency Preparedness/Emergency Response Management Systems to ensure that all Olin facilities (Corporate, Chemicals, & Winchester) meet regulatory requirements and have a robust process that enables effective preparedness and response to emergencies and security situations. Director – Global Security And Emergency Response Key Responsibilities • Lead global security strategy, policies, and emergency response systems. • Oversee crisis management, executive protection, travel security, and business continuity. • Conduct enterprise risk assessments and security audits. • Manage physical security, workplace violence prevention, and site-level emergency planning. • Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and industry groups to influence policy and ensure compliance (DHS, USCG, MTSA, DOT, etc.). • Support international and high-risk traveler programs. • Coordinate emergency drills, training, and crisis team activation. • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, HR, EHS, and site leaders to strengthen preparedness and response. Director – Global Security and Emergency Response Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree* in criminal justice, engineering, business, EHS&S discipline or related field of study • 15 years’ experience in law enforcement; FBI or secret service strongly preferred; experience in conducting criminal investigations preferred • Proven leadership in global security and emergency response. • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management. • Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally and domestically. • Experience with a focus on developing and implementing global security policies and management systems • Experience applying security and emergency response protocols in chemical manufacturing operations strongly preferred • Active US Government TOP SECRET SCI LEVEL CLEARANCE to participate in information sharing with the FBI and other Federal Agencies. • Existing knowledge of current security and Emergency response/preparedness regulations (EPA/OSHA, DHS, USCG, DOT, CTPAT) • Experience in conducting security vulnerability assessments utilizing CCPS and Sandia methodology. • CTM (Certified Threat Manager) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) credentials a plus • Must be able to work extended hours, weekends as needed, especially when security or crisis situations arise requiring immediate attention and intervention • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with technical staff, business leaders, and corporate functions; experience interacting with representatives from regulatory agencies preferred • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, analytical thinking skills, interpersonal skills, initiative, teamwork and team leadership, quality orientation, and attention to detail. • Ability to effectively coach internal staff and work with outside groups and agencies. Title: Procurement Co-op (January - May 2026 or August - December 2026) Location: Houston, Texas (Near Katy, Texas) Salary: $23.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students Housing Stipend Available Focus: The Procurement Co-op supports strategic sourcing and procurement operations through supplier engagement, data analysis, and system utilization. Procurement Co-op Essential Job Functions: • Assist with competitive bid events, supplier qualification, and issuing RFPs to support sourcing initiatives • Track supplier performance, prepare reports and presentations, and contribute to cost-reduction efforts • Learn and apply SAP tools to support procurement activities across categories and aid in project execution Procurement Co-op Minimum Requirements: • Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Business, Supply Chain, or supply chain-related degree program. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location. • Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations. • Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin • Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) either January - May or August - December 2026. Not eligible for virtual work. • Preference will be given to candidates with availability and desire to work a minimum of three (3) terms with no more than one of those terms occurring over the summer • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa • A Valid US Driver's license is required • Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship.
