Monitor, forecast, and analyze revenue and expenditures for academic units, serving as a business manager. | Requires a bachelor's degree, 4+ years in financial analysis, and experience with database/spreadsheet applications, preferably in higher education. | Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. • A minimum of four (4) years' financial analysis, forecasting and accounting experience. • Extensive knowledge of and experience with computer database and spreadsheet applications, including development of complex database applications. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with others. Desired Qualifications • Masters degree. • CPA. • Knowledge of and experience with university administrative systems. • Experience in higher education. All Qualifications Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered. Position Details Position Purpose Provide direction in fiscal, operational and personnel matters for the Division of Academic Affairs. Monitor, forecast and analyze revenue and expenditures in various funds, and provide financial and data analysis. Monitor and reconcile faculty salary budgets.
