Medical Assistant - Xray perform administrative and clinical duties under the direct supervision of a medical provider - physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner - in the medical office setting. The Medical Assistant works closely with the physician in the office clinical setting, assists with direct patient care, and serves as the clinical liaison between physician and patient and between physician and the office staff and offers the added skill of providing the radiology function. The incumbent is responsible for promoting communications among all care providers, patients, and office staff regarding the care plan for the patient as defined by the attending physician. The individual attends to patients utilizing the age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice. This role is responsible to maintain existing infrastructure to ensure hardware, firmware and software versions are kept up to date. Assist in leading organizational projects and initiatives to adhere to NHC standards and industry best practices, executing the plan to ensure the compatibility and integration for systems, and assists in managing the rollout of these initiatives from infancy to fruition ensuring all systems adhere to the highest standards. The individual will work with NHC IS architects and leadership to implement best practices, policies, and security standards for the organization that are highly available and are optimized for performance. • *This position offers a fully remote work opportunity.
