Manage multiple healthcare projects from initiation to closing, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure project documentation and stakeholder communication, and monitor project progress and budget. | Bachelor's degree or 10+ years experience, PMP certification required or to be obtained within 6 months, minimum 3 years managing complex healthcare or IT projects. | Overview NAH reserves the right to make hiring decisions based on applicants' state of residence if outside the state of Arizona. NAH currently hires for remote positions in the following states: • Alabama • Arizona • Florida • Georgia • Idaho • Indiana • Kansas • Michigan • Missouri • North Carolina • Ohio • Oklahoma • Pennsylvania • South Carolina • Tennessee • Texas • Virginia The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing multiple small to large projects from initiation through closing. S/he will manage cross-functional teams with meetings and activities which bring distinct, specific projects to successful completion on time, within budget, while producing quality outcomes in support of business objectives. In this position, the PM will follow NAH project management methodology, which closely mirrors PMI's project management methodology. S/he will demonstrate knowledge and usage of various project management tools, including a general understanding of the waterfall and agile methods, and will ensure that all project documentation and artifacts are up-to-date and communicated to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis. The PM will perform at an intermediate level in the areas of risk management, budget management, project scoping, scheduling, requirements gathering, resource and capacity planning, and communications management. They will monitor project direction to ensure that operational goals are on track. The PM will be an enthusiastic change agent and inspire the project team with a shared sense of purpose and be able to shift from the big picture to critical small detail thinking. The PM must be able to exhibit proactive critical thinking and problem solving to ensure project success through goal oriented behavior. Responsibilities Project • Manage projects as defined by NAH PMO process and complete associated documentation. Stakeholder • Develop and maintain collaborative and trusted relationships with stakeholders • Ensure customer satisfaction • Contribute to overal PMO reporting to keep all parties informed • Be an advocate and educator to the organization on PMO process and value Team • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to confirm partnership • Facilitiate Project Meetings towards issue/risk identification as well as decision making • Foster a culture based on accountability for all involved • Ability to drive project team discussions to develop project details to create project tasks and schedules as well complete tasks on time. • Effective in delegating assignments to team members best positioned to complete them. General • Monitor project progress and escalate to management as appropriate where delays put project at risk. • Track project costs in order to meet budget and communicate variances as identified • Provide solutions to project-related issues/risks and suggestions for ongoing improvements • Ensure focus on project outcomes to guarantee value is received • Works independently and requires minimal input to work product, performing at intermediate PM level Compliance/Safety • * Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the internal safety reporting tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner. • Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility. • If required for the position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates. • Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training in the specified time frame. Qualifications Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field. Or 10+ years of experience in the field in lieu of a degree. Certification & Licensures Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)- Required, however, will consider applicants who will be getting their certification within the first 6 months from the hiring date. Experience Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects- Required i. Ideal candidate to have strong healthcare and IT experience.
