We are looking for an analytical and inquisitive intern to join our Quality Engineering Team. The QA Automation intern will be involved in projects related to testing (60%) as well as coding and development (40%). The intern will complete training and job shadowing, so prior internship experience is not required. Job Responsibilities: Learn the Quality Engineering function in Software development lifecycle and assist the teams with: Design, develop and make improvements to the test automation framework written in Java. Work with other SDET’s and Testers to troubleshoot automation framework issues and provide fixes. Build and deploy build to production environment Create Manual and automated test scripts to test the application under test. Execute both Manual and Automated tests to support project delivery teams. Manual validation of Documents generated against specified requirements. Required Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA (3.5 or above is preferred) Rising senior or junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent Demonstrates knowledge in one or more programming and scripting languages such as Java, C#, .NET and JavaScript etc. Demonstrates an aptitude for software engineering Ability to learn quickly (functional and technical aptitudes) and apply those learnings Demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills Commutable to our West Trenton, New Jersey office The IT QA Automation Intern position can pay $21-$25. Required Qualifications: Knowledge, skills & abilities, experience, minimum & desired education, certification and/or license requirements. • Minimum 0 - 3 years' experience in understanding and analyzing insurance business processes. • Demonstrate a strong work-ethic through ownership and accountability, taking pride in deliverables, managing priorities effectively, and supporting teams' interests. • Basic ability to determine the root cause of problems and create solutions that resolve these problems. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to collaborate with diverse multi-function teams. • Embracing a growth mindset by learning new tools, products, and business processes. Pay Range: $61,256-$77,255 Eligible full-time employees receive a competitive Total Rewards package, including but not limited to a 401(k) with employer match up to 8% and additional service-based contributions, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life and Disability coverage, generous PTO, Paid Sick Leave, and paid parental leave in addition to state-mandated leave.
