(NTD) organization who will perform administrative and operational tasks of moderate scope and complexity which requires some coordination with members of Nintendo of America Inc. (NOA), as well as with external partners. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Provides administrative support to the NTD organization. Manages on-site office needs, including supplies stock. Communicates effectively and efficiently with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams, and with external partners. Cross-organizational teams include NOA Facilities, Human Resources, IT, Procurement, and Security. Coordinates department shipping. Assists with asset tracking. Responsible for managing some meetings and schedules (both in-person & virtual). Handles various project coordination tasks upon request including creating & editing business documents and taking meeting minutes. Coordinates on-site visitors according to approved policies and procedures. Generates and prepares regular reports on behalf of the Administrative team. Works on special projects as requested. Substitutes for other NTD administrators as needed. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of related administrative experience (technical environment preferred) Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong knowledge of meeting scheduling practices (via Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom) Familiarity with business terminology and basic IT technical terms Knowledgeable about general business culture and practices Comfortable working in a technical environment Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds Ability to effectively move about an office campus Fluency in Japanese is a plus Up to 5% domestic travel may be required Associate degree or professional certification preferred, or equivalent work experience This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. This contract position includes the base pay range listed below and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Team Summary: Within Nintendo of America (NOA)’s Tax department, this position prepares and files required Federal and State corporate tax returns, as well as assists in other tax-related matters, including monthly tax accruals, Federal and State audits, tax research and planning projects, and other tax-related compliance projects. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: · Prepares State and local tax returns and related schedules. · Assists with tax research and planning. · Compiles data and creates documentation to assist with tax projects. · Reconciles general ledger accounts. · Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all corporate tax returns and other information provided to taxing agencies. · Maintains various tax software systems and updates. · Prepares tax depreciation reports. · Provides assistance and support of tax-related audits. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: · A minimum of two to three (2-3) years of related accounting experience. · Intermediate or higher level of proficiency using PC-based tax processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel, InSource, Sage Fixed Assets, RIA/BNA). · Undergraduate degree in Accounting, with an emphasis on tax law, procedures and compliance or equivalent education and experience. · CPA certification preferred but not required · Canadian tax experience a plus · Experience using Alteryx for tax analytics/automation a plus Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. This position includes a base salary range of $79,600 - $127,400 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
