Manage all accounting functions including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, tax filings, and financial reporting. | Strong organizational skills, GAAP accounting knowledge, proficiency in MS Office, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work unsupervised. | Located minutes south of Seattle in Renton, Washington, Newton Research Labs, Inc., a global leader in high-performance computer vision, robotics and industrial automation technology, is looking for an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper reports directly to the President in preparing and reporting financial statements conforming to principles of accounting and regulatory requirements. This is a one person office. Responsibilities: • Direct all accounting functions including payroll, accounts receivable/collections, accounts payable, taxes, and purchasing. • Provide business analysis on company's operations and product results. • Responsible for overall fiscal operations: directing internal financial programs and procedures. • Preparation of tax filings and reports for local, state and federal governments. • Monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting and closing. Minimum Qualifications: • Strong organizational skills. • Knowledge of current GAAP accounting procedures. • Strong analytical, math and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Be able to work completely unsupervised. • Experience with SAGE Business Works would be a positive. Compensation commensurate with experience and performance, and includes medical, dental, and life insurance, paid time off, and employee assistance program.
