Role Overview: As the IIoT Edge Devices Developer Lead, you will spearhead the design, configuration, and deployment of IIoT edge devices, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership to guide development teams and collaborate with clients. What You'll Do: - You will configure, deploy, and manage IIoT edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson, Siemens IoT2040, and Azure IoT Edge. - You will lead the development team in creating scalable and secure edge computing solutions. - You will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. - You will oversee the integration of edge devices with cloud platforms and enterprise systems. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to edge device deployment. - You will ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IIoT deployments. - You will mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. - You will manage project timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver on client expectations. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in IIoT edge device development and deployment. - You possess strong knowledge of edge computing platforms including NVIDIA Jetson, Siemens IoT2040, and Azure IoT Edge. - You have proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and experience with containerization technologies like Docker. - You demonstrate excellent leadership and project management skills. - You have experience working in remote and client-facing roles with effective communication abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS IoT services. - Familiarity with industrial protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus. - Certifications in IIoT or related fields. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for IIoT environments.
