As an Associate Product Manager - Payroll you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the product strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, and sales to deliver a world-class workforce management solution that meets the needs of our customers. Your deep understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and customer pain points will drive innovation and product enhancements. You will own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring that our product remains competitive, compliant, and scalable. • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and manage the product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with company goals and market needs. Continuously assess the product's performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and pivot as necessary. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, design, operations, and customer support, to ensure the product meets user needs and compliance requirements. Act as the voice of the customer in all product discussions. • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs. Use this data to inform product decisions and differentiate our offerings in the market. • Product Development: Lead the product development process, from ideation to launch. Work with engineering teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure that product features are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. • Customer Focus: Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and prioritize product enhancements. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer workflows and business process challenges to ensure the product meets their needs. • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that the product complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay informed about changes in legislation and work with legal and compliance teams to implement necessary updates. • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and monitor its performance. Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Report on product performance to senior leadership. • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product features and enhancements. Ensure that the product messaging resonates with the target audience and drives adoption. • Analytically strong and have problem solving skills • Able to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders. • Excellent in communication and presentation skills. What You Have • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of product management experience or at least 3-5 years focused on Time and Attendance applications in client-facing roles providing solutions to business challenges, typically in implementation, solution architect, or support roles. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of workforce management processes, compliance, and regulations, including FLSA overtime and FMLA.. • Skills: • Experience with Agile development methodologies. • Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Aha!, or similar. As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll work with an outstanding group of designers, product managers and developers to design and build intuitive and elegant HCM solutions. This role will be responsible for creating compelling and delightful experiences employing Design thinking methodologies and best practices. You’ll be the single point of accountability for planning, execution, and reporting, driving alignment across teams without direct reports of developers or QAs. Success in this role requires strong PMO expertise, experience in scaled agile (SAFE-lite), and ideally Release Train Engineer (RTE) responsibilities.
