Position Overview The Sales Manager – Distribution + Regionals is responsible for driving profitable growth across our largest national distributors and regional mid-size retailers, with a special focus on the natural channel. You will own account-level strategy and execution while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver against aggressive profitability goals as well as growth targets. This role is ideal for a highly-organized, entrepreneurial, and data-savvy sales leader who understands the nuances of the distributor model and various retail customers, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesChannel & Regional Account Management • Lead account strategy and execution across distributors, regional retailers, and independent grocers • Build annual promotional plans, negotiate customer agreements, and ensure promotional execution in order to deliver on key KPIs • Develop and deliver compelling, data-backed customer presentations that influence buyer decisions and enhance partnerships • Build and strengthen relationships with distributor and retail partners through trade shows and industry events. Represent NICKS in all key category reviews and annual planning conversations • Seek out strategic business development opportunities, particularly those that exist within current distribution network Retail Execution & Sales Fundamentals • Conduct HQ and market visits and partner with brokers to improve execution, visibility, and compliance • Ensure on-shelf availability, proper shelf placement, and in-store support for new items and promotions • Collaborate on field marketing initiatives, demos, and activation programs where appropriate Broker & Distributor Management • Partner with natural and regional broker teams to manage key accounts • Manage communication, planning, and performance evaluation of partners • Oversee execution through key distributors including KeHE, UNFI, and DOT • Provide feedback to brokers and distributors on expectations, performance, and tools needed for success Forecasting & Business Support • Manage all volume forecasting and promotional planning for assigned accounts across all NICK’S categories • Maximize trade and shopper marketing ROI by evaluating and optimizing the performance of all working and non-working dollars • Own trade budget management and deduction accuracy in partnership with Finance and Accounts Receivable teams Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on execution, timelines, and demand planning • Share regional and channel-specific insights to inform product innovation, brand messaging, and go-to-market strategy • Support launches, field campaigns, and natural retailer activations with a hands-on approach Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required • 3–5+ years of experience in sales roles within the Natural and/or Conventional CPG industry • Strong understanding of CPG distribution network (KeHE, UNFI, DOT) • Strong organization, prioritization, communication, analysis, and planning skills • Comprehensive experience with syndicated data tools (IRI, SPINS) • Proven ability to execute retail strategy in both Traditional and Specialty channels • Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to travel up to 40% N!CK'S is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer. Summary of the role: The US Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of the marketing plans in the US as well as leading and developing the US marketing activation team. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution - ensuring alignment with the global brand strategy while enabling effective local activation. The US Marketing Manager will own the US marketing plans and budget,working closely with the sales team, commercial strategy team and design team as well as external partners, to deliver measurable impact while fostering a data-driven approach to maximize ROI and market acceleration. All to strengthen the N!CK’S brand’s presence across the US. Travel:The role will be expected to travel frequently across the US. Areas of responsibility: Strategy, planning and execution: Create the annual US marketing plan, aligned with the global brand and marketing strategy. Own and manage the US marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and ROI. Lead the execution of the US marketing plans together with the marketing activation team and external partners. Lead our US sampling program together with the activation manager utilizing various channels to reach influencers and consumers. Ensure all marketing activities are positioned to drive Nick’s with the target consumer, fostering loyalty and community engagement. Enable the US sales team to effectively commercialize our marketing plans with retailers. Stay on top of market and category trends as well as leverage data and insights to anticipate shifts, uncover opportunities that keep us ahead of the competition. Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the marketing activation team in the US Lead the student ambassador program team. Create and implement structure and processes for effective cross-functional collaboration internally and with external partners. Analytics & ROI: Analyze the impact of marketing activations across markets. Drive a strong ROI and data-driven mindset, continuously optimizing marketing campaigns and strategies.
