Naveris, a biotech startup based near Boston, MA, is looking for a Director of Market Access - VA and Government Specialist team member to help us develop our next great product for patients at risk of developing viral cancers. Our flagship test, NavDx, is a breakthrough blood-based DNA test for HPV cancers, clinically proven and already trusted by hundreds of physicians and institutions across the U.S. Opportunity Naveris is seeking a Director of Market Access - VA and Government Specialist to help lead reimbursement strategy and drive Payer coverage for first-in-class HPV-driven cancer testing. This role requires a strategic and analytical leader who can leverage clinical expertise and a data-driven approach to secure new Payer agreements. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a track record of establishing Payer coverage for innovative products in the government markets, including but not limited to the VA systems, excelling in cross-functional collaboration, and influencing Payer policy decisions. This position reports to the Vice President of Market Access and will play a pivotal role in scaling our reimbursement function as the company grows. Job Responsibilities Reporting to the Vice President of Market Access, the Director of Market Access will develop and execute a comprehensive reimbursement strategy focused on securing VA and Government coverage and expand utilization in those key markets. Key responsibilities include: Crafting Strategy & Execution Plans for securing VA and Government coverage Develop market access strategy, goals, and plans for achieving VA System and Government Sectored coverage of our HPV-driven cancer testing. Coverage & Policy Development Collaborate with Product, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales and Clinical Operations teams to create compelling evidence, value propositions, and programs that drive Payer policy favorability. Present evidence to Payers and negotiate coverage agreements while representing Payer perspectives within the company to inform evidence generation and optimize relationships. Cross-functional collaboration Partner with internal teams to align clinical development and product positioning with reimbursement goals. Contribute to health economics and cost-effectiveness studies, ensuring alignment with Payer requirements and market access objectives. Establishing Best Practices in Reimbursement Monitor policy changes and industry trends, contributing to the development of best practices for reimbursement strategy within the organization. Prioritize focus on Medicaid and other Government payers Requirements Outstanding candidates for the Director of Market Access - VA and Government Specialist role will meet the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience in Market Access, Payer Relations, or Health Economics, with a successful track record of securing Payer coverage for new products within the VA and Government Entities. Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to influence external stakeholders and secure Payer policies. Deep understanding of reimbursement models, healthcare policy, and Payer requirements. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience engaging clinical, product, and sales teams. Adaptable in both strategic and hands-on roles in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Our flagship test, NavDx, is a breakthrough blood-based DNA test for HPV-induced cancers, clinically proven and already trusted by tens of thousands of patients and physicians across the U.S. The Opportunity The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in shaping and executing the NavDx promotional content strategy from a scientific standpoint. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to create compelling, evidence-based content that drives awareness, education, and demand for NavDx. You will work closely with Clinical Affairs, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment, deliver impactful tools, and optimize our presence across all marketing channels. This role may be based on-site at our Waltham, MA office, or remote in the US with occasional travel to Waltham, MA. Job Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Development Lead the creation of a comprehensive NavDx promotional content strategy that supports brand positioning and growth objectives. Translate complex clinical data into compelling, customer-focused messaging for both healthcare providers and patients. Develop high-impact promotional assets, including brochures, presentations, digital campaigns, videos, and case studies. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all materials and touchpoints. Collaboration with Clinical Affairs Partner with the Clinical Affairs team to align promotional content strategy with the publication strategy. Leverage emerging clinical evidence to craft timely, scientifically accurate content that supports provider education and adoption. Maintain a deep understanding of NavDx data and competitive literature to inform messaging and positioning. Sales Enablement Collaborate with the Sales team to create engaging sales tools, training resources, and presentations to support customer conversations. Gather feedback from the field to continuously refine messaging and develop content that resonates with target audiences. Content Syndication & Channel Optimization Partner with the Marketing team to syndicate content across multiple channels, including email, digital, social media, conferences, and webinars. Track engagement metrics and campaign performance to refine strategy and improve ROI. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field. 2+ years of marketing experience in diagnostics, biotech, pharma, or healthcare, with a focus on promotional content strategy. Proven ability to translate clinical data into impactful marketing materials. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Affairs, Sales, and Product Marketing. Strong understanding of competitive dynamics in the diagnostics or oncology space. Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
