We partner with volunteers to accomplish our work. Staff members engage volunteers through effective and timely communications, facilitating meaningful opportunities, and continually seeking and providing feedback for reciprocal growth and learning. Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading and managing the talent acquisition strategy and operations for the organization. This role involves developing and implementing innovative recruitment plans, overseeing recruitment team performance, and ensuring the organization attracts and hires top talent. The TA Lead will collaborate with senior leaders to align recruitment efforts with business goals and foster a culture of excellence and diversity. Location: • Remote - Flexible Location • Work is primarily performed remotely, however, when possible and necessary, teams meet in person to conduct the business of the organization and build team relationships. Compensation | Benefits: The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000/year. Final offers will be based on the candidate's geographic location, consider career experience and may vary from this range due to these and other factors. Main Responsibilities: Talent Strategy & Partnership (30%) • Execute and continuously improve hiring and onboarding strategies in alignment with organizational priorities and direction set by Talent Management leadership. • Partner with functional leaders, HR Business Partners, and internal stakeholders to understand talent needs, identify challenges, and support effective recruiting solutions. • Identify and prioritize recruiting needs in partnership with HR Business Partners, balancing urgency, capacity, and organizational impact. • Support the SVP, Talent Management on executive recruitment activities as assigned, including coordination, scheduling, and candidate management. • Own the creation, maintenance, and governance of job descriptions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards. • Collaborate with People & Culture leadership to align recruiting practices with compensation, talent development, and broader talent management processes. • Track, report, and act on defined recruiting KPIs and hiring outcomes, delivering regular recruiting updates and insights to leadership. Talent Attraction & Hiring (35%) • Manage day-to-day talent acquisition operations, delivering consistent, high-quality, full-cycle recruiting outcomes across the organization. • Lead and support the TA team in executing recruiting strategies, managing requisitions, and maintaining service levels and candidate experience standards. • Oversee effective use of talent acquisition systems and tools, primarily Workday Recruiting, ensuring accurate data entry, appropriate workflows, and process compliance. • Manage and optimize the Society's internship program, ensuring it supports talent pipelines, learning experiences, and long-term engagement with the organization. • Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies, and reinforce consistent, compliant interviewing practices. Employer Brand & Sourcing (15%) • Execute employer branding and sourcing initiatives in collaboration with internal partners, including Marketing and other Talent functions. • Implement sourcing strategies that support current and future talent needs, informed by labor market trends and organizational priorities. • Contribute to the development and execution of candidate-facing messaging and materials that reflect the Society's mission, values, and employee value proposition. • Maintain and enhance the Society's presence on candidate-facing platforms such as the careers site, job boards, and social channels, in coordination with internal stakeholders. • Support proactive sourcing efforts through external events, networks, and online platforms. Staff Supervision (20%) • Hire, onboard, coach, and develop direct reports to deliver strong recruiting outcomes and consistent service to hiring leaders. • Set clear expectations, monitor performance, provide regular feedback, and support professional development for the TA team. • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture grounded in clear priorities, communication, and results. What We're Looking For: • 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including agency and in-house recruiting • Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting across exempt and non-exempt roles, with agency experience providing sourcing rigor, speed, and candidate management discipline. • Nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organizational experience • Experience recruiting for/with/in values-based environments where candidate alignment, equity, and stewardship of resources are critical to success. • Hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting / ATS • Proven ability to operate effectively in Workday Recruiting, including requisition management, workflow execution, candidate movement, reporting, and data hygiene. Advanced configuration experience preferred but not required. • Experience supporting or strengthening an existing recruiting function • Experience improving recruiting processes, intake discipline, stakeholder communication, and hiring consistency within an established organization. Prior exposure to standing up or refining recruiting practices is a plus. • People leadership experience in a small-team environment • Demonstrated ability to guide, prioritize, and support a small TA team (two direct reports), balancing hands-on recruiting with oversight, coaching, and accountability. • Strong operational discipline and comfort with defined oversight • Ability to operate within clear expectations, reporting requirements, and communication cadence, particularly during an initial period of close partnership and oversight, with the goal of increasing independence over time. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience recruiting in a distributed or remote workforce environment • Experience supporting hiring across multiple locations or a remote workforce, with the ability to adapt sourcing, interviewing, and candidate engagement practices to varied labor markets. • Demonstrated success improving recruiting processes and stakeholder experience • Track record of refining intake practices, streamlining recruiting workflows, strengthening communication with hiring managers, and improving candidate experience through practical, incremental improvements. • Experience training and enabling hiring managers on recruiting best practices • Demonstrated experience educating hiring managers and recruiting teams on recruiting processes, structured and compliant interviewing practices, and candidate evaluation standards, with comfort developing practical training materials, job aids, and resources to reinforce consistent understanding and application. Job Summary: The Assistant Vice President, Endurance Events provides strategic leadership and vision for the organization’s campaign event fundraising portfolio in region, overseeing planning, execution, and long-term growth. This role manages a team of 10-18 market-based fundraising professionals, sets revenue targets, and drives innovation to expand reach, deepen donor engagement, and maximize impact for the Society’s Bike MS (1- and 2-day cycling series), Challenge Walk MS (3-day walk), and Finish MS (marathon program). As a leader, the AVP collaborates cross-functionally with executive leadership, marketing, and development teams to align event strategies with organizational priorities and mission outcomes. The AVP is accountable for team performance, staff development, donor stewardship, and ensuring campaign alignment with national strategy and regional priorities. Main Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a regional portfolio of fundraising events aligned to the Society’s Endurance Events Supervise a team of 10–18 market-based fundraisers, setting clear goals, managing performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Set clear expectations, delegate effectively, and ensure accountability for team performance and goal achievement Ensure team structure and staffing are optimized for performance, balancing workloads and aligning talent to campaign needs Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to staff at all levels, creating growth pathways and building fundraising capacity Collaborate with Vice Presidents and regional leadership to align campaign execution with national strategy and local priorities Monitor and analyze team performance using KPIs and CRM data to drive coaching, planning, and course-correcting strategies to ensure regional success Partner with Individual Giving and Corporate Partnerships teams to deepen donor relationships, activate sponsors, and grow revenue from institutional funders Champion innovation, cross-team collaboration and operational efficiency by encouraging idea-sharing and adopting best practices across markets Represent the region and campaign at organizational meetings and collaborate cross-functionally to advance strategic goals What We're Looking For: 3+ years’ experience managing a team Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
