The Role We are seeking a remote Site Reliability Engineer who will elevate our infrastructure resilience and optimize system performance. As we advance into our next phase of growth, we are searching for someone passionate about driving the enhancement, observability, and automation of our cloud-based infrastructure and fostering innovation and efficiency across our platform. We’re hiring across multiple levels, from intermediate engineers with strong production experience through senior and staff engineers who can lead reliability strategy across systems and teams. You Will Analyze system performance using APM and distributed telemetry data to identify sources of instability Improve scalability, reliability, and performance through software enhancements and patching Develop tools and automation to streamline the DevOps pipeline Design and manage infrastructure in both data center metal environments and in the public cloud Conduct predictive failure analysis and disaster planning Administer and configure databases and key-value stores with a focus on uptime and performance Analyze complex systems to identify operational surprises and minimize downtime Participate in incident response and produce postmortem reports Collaborate with other engineering teams STEM degree and/or relevant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Devops Engineer, or SWE Proficiency in Python or Golang. The Base Salary range for this position is $169,000 - $215,000 USD. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The Role We’re looking for a Tech Lead Manager to lead the team, which builds the systems that power personalized experiences, experimentation, audience targeting, and content delivery across our products. This team plays a critical role in helping the company deliver the right experience to the right user at the right time, and in building the platform foundation needed to scale that over time. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business strategy into engineering roadmaps and scalable systems. You’ll help clarify complex problem spaces, make thoughtful technical decisions across multiple services, and ensure the team builds the right foundation to support increasingly sophisticated experimentation and user personalization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management, stakeholder alignment, and long-term platform strategy. You Will Lead and develop a small team of engineers responsible for experience optimization systems across personalization, experimentation, audience generation, and content delivery. Help build and scale the platform that powers personalized, in-session experiences for users across the site. Create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces by connecting technical constraints, business priorities, and user experience goals. Coach and mentor engineers on technical decision-making, execution, and career growth. You Have Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Experience leading engineering teams as a people manager, technical lead, or Tech Lead Manager. Strong software engineering background with experience working across full-stack systems, with a backend-heavy focus. Strong backend experience in languages such as Go or Python. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with Product, Design, and other cross-functional partners to drive technical direction, roadmap planning, and execution across complex, user-facing platform systems. Ability to define technical direction in ambiguous spaces and break broad goals into actionable plans for a team. A track record of mentoring engineers and helping teams raise the bar technically and operationally. Bonus Points: Experience building systems related to experimentation, personalization, segmentation, audience targeting, or decisioning is strongly preferred. Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks such as Django or Flask.
