Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Principal Roadway Engineer/Project Manager with a focus on large infrastructure transportation projects, to be based in Jacksonville, FL You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our existing talented engineers on some of the largest projects locally and across the country. You’ll often work across multiple projects varying in size and complexity. Responsibilities Include • Leads and manages roadway design and projects that are in construction in Florida and some southeastern states. • Review, position and pursue projects for FDOT Districts, counties and associated agencies. • Develops project plans, scopes, and budgets. • Manages project timelines and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. • Provides technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members. • Designs and plans roadway geometrics, intersections, and other related features. • Performs engineering analyses and calculations. • Ensures projects comply with relevant standards, regulations, and codes. • Supervises and mentors junior engineers and technicians. • Delegates tasks and responsibilities effectively. • Provides feedback and coaching to team members. • Communicates effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other parties involved in the project. • Represents the project team and company to external parties.
