About the role: We are growing our sales leadership team and looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Strategic Sales Leader to join our team. As the Strategic Sales Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts into the Global 2000 and expanding our footprint with the largest data teams in the world. You will lead a team of high-performing sales professionals, shape our sales and support strategy, and foster relationships with key clients. This position reports to our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and can be anywhere on the East Coast in the US. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Hire and develop a team of Strategic Account Executives Create situational playbooks and sales plays to land net new logos and drive incremental usage within the customer base Build tight partnerships with the Customer Success team to accelerate usage and ensure positive customer sentiment Partner with sales leadership to further define a successful and repeatable sales process Understand the challenges facing the team and clear the way to allow for success Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting. Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity Overachieve targets on both new business and usage Create a winning culture of high performing and engaged team for Strategic Sales We’re excited about you because you have: 5+ years of recent experience leading enterprise or strategic sales reps in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Sales management experience in data-driven industries is optimal 10+ years of full-cycle, B2B sales experience in complex software sales; a successful track record of winning new business at the enterprise and strategic level. Demonstrated success in forecasting, territory account mapping, research and planning, and running discovery meetings for key/strategic accounts. Excellent communication skills; the ideal candidate will be a natural storyteller who can articulate complex ideas and easily engage varied audiences. We’re excited about you because you have: 5 years of experience in Customer Success serving enterprises or consulting for enterprise level clients (e.g. Bain, BCG, McKinsey, etc.). Strong experience with clients with up to 10K employees. Delivering success for data products/solutions is highly preferred. Demonstrated track record in an early-stage company or highly ambiguous environment. Project and stakeholder management skills to orchestrate large-scale rollouts and manage through enterprise political dynamics. About the role: We’re looking for an experienced customer-facing Solutions Architect who loves helping people, solving problems, and wants to be a major factor in the success of our largest enterprise customers. This position is for someone with a strong technical aptitude, extensive customer-facing experience, and the ability to oversee multiple engagements. This person will be based on the West Coast. Here’s what you’ll be doing: • Be a strategic technical counterpart to the Success team at Monte Carlo. • Define project scope based on the customer's needs and requirements, guide clear.outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions. • Deliver implementations of Monte Carlo, including on complicated data lake environments. • Define "best practice" approaches for achieving a desired technical capability through Monte Carlo. • Deliver training and enablement on advanced technical concepts to technical customers. • Create collateral, documentation, and other technical materials as needed. • Advocate on behalf of customers cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales. • Analyze customer trends and identify opportunities to drive product consumption growth. We’re excited about you because you have: • 3-5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role, preferably within the data technology space. Finding creative solutions to unlock the value of our product. Learn our customers’ data infrastructure so you can be prescriptive on how they should implement Monte Carlo. • Firm understanding of some of the following: cloud data warehousing, data lakes, ETL concepts and workflows, BI solutions, SQL, and working with APIs; Networking experience a plus. • Experienced in Business Value Assessment; use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solutions to multiple audiences. • Worked with Enterprise customers before and managed multiple stakeholders and priorities. • Been part of a high-performing team. We hold ourselves to a high bar and set ambitious goals. • Experience identifying and improving internal and customer-facing processes. • Previously worked in a startup environment.
