Oversee financial reporting, lead finance team, manage treasury functions, and collaborate on strategic financial initiatives. | 10+ years finance experience with 3+ years senior leadership in mortgage industry and knowledge of banking regulations and accounting principles. | Description: Job Summary: As the Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in TMS financial operations, overseeing financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for oversight of accounting staff, GL integrity, and closing out the books each month. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: · Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses. · Present financial information to the executive team, board of directors, and relevant stakeholders. Team Leadership and Development: · Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge. · Foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement within the finance division. Treasury and Cash Management: · Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and investment strategies to optimize returns while ensuring liquidity needs are met. Strategic Financial Initiatives: · Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that drive sustainable growth, capital allocation, and shareholder value. Requirements: Qualifications: · Proven experience (10+ years) in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the mortgage industry. · In-depth understanding of banking regulations, financial markets, and accounting principles. · Having Mortgage Servicing accounting experience is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to interact effectively with executives, regulators, and other stakeholders.
