The portal is a vital part of our support for our partners developing solutions for our highly praised open platform and will be utilizing the newest technologies for assisting our partners from idea to deployment. If you are into containerization, cloud services, large language models or simply just get a kick out of interacting with fellow developers on how they can best achieve their goals this is something for you. As AI will become an important part of not only the partner solutions but also the services in the portal itself, an interest or even experience in this area will be very beneficial. The Team We are a team of 15 people from 7 nationalities and across two sites (Copenhagen and Barcelona), working on providing the next generation developer portal for our world-leading Video Management Software. The team consists of all necessary functions, such as developers, test engineer, product manager, technical communication, etc, and is empowered to make decisions about the product direction based on a close collaboration with our partners. We take pride in delivering solutions with a high level of quality and based on modern technology but just as much in listening to our partners and deliver what fits their needs. The team culture is informal and based on collaboration between individual contributors each with a strong sense of ownership but first and foremost we believe that the best results are delivered while having fun. We think, plan and act as one team. As such, you will not be allocated to a group of very specified tasks. Together, we look at the tasks at hand and then decide how we best can drive things forward - and as part of this, how we best can utilize each person's skills and competencies and at the same time ensure the on-going development of us all. The candidate The position will be focused on providing services supporting the developer portal and thus experience with developing cloud-based services is key to the position. Being a team player is crucial, and we expect a senior engineer to be able to act as a mentor and role model for more junior team members. Also, you should be able to drive and develop features both as an individual and in close collaboration with others. As a person you should be open-minded and willing to both share ideas with and listen to others. You should take pride in always delivering good quality solutions, be curious about learning new technologies, and be open to communicating with others both within and outside the company. Some important skills we look for in candidates for this position: • A software related degree at minimum B.Sc. level • 5+ years of work experience as a software developer • Experience with backend development on an event-driven architecture • Experience with Python, C#, and/or GO • Experience with Kubernetes and Helm • Provisioning of cloud infrastructure (infrastructure-as-code) • Good English skills in writing and speaking • It will be ideal if you also have some experience with one or more of the following: • JavaScript/TypeScript • Node.js • Linux • Cloud infrastructure provisioning • Spotify Backstage • You will be located in our office in Barcelona Interested? The Manager, Employee Engagement & Culture will play a critical role in supporting the Americas Region (North / South / Latin America) in bringing our culture and employer brand to life locally – across offices, remote teams, and the external markets. Job Responsibilities • Culture & Engagement Program Execution • Build and manage an annual calendar of culture-building activities, aligned with global themes and local priorities • Drive execution of wellness events, employee recognition, DEI campaigns, and community initiatives, across on-site and remote opportunities • Coordinate regional and site level events in partnership with leadership, P&C and our cultural ambassadors • Capture participation metrics and feedback to iterate and improve • Local Employer Branding Activation (Internal + External) • Amplify our presence in key talent markets through localized campaigns and community visibility (e.g., Top Employer lists, sponsorships, local job fairs, campus outreach) • Ensure physical office spaces reflect our brand identity—signage, digital displays, recruitment materials, etc. • Partner with Global and Regional P&C to boost our social media presence via authentic employee stories, event coverage, and regional achievements • Serve as a liaison to internal Communications and Talent Acquisition to support regional storytelling and brand consistency • Cross-Functional Partnership • Work closely with local site leaders, P&C Business Partners, and RB&PS team to ensure initiatives land well across sites • Support rollout of global campaigns with high-quality, locally relevant execution • Be the connective tissue across departments to avoid duplicated effort and missed opportunities • Content Creation and Communications • Partner with Global Communications to localize content & maintain consistent tone & branding. • Craft and distribute engaging internal messaging to promote culture initiatives, employee stories, and company values across multiple platforms. • Monitor and respond to comments and questions (in partnership with Regional P&C) on external social platforms to foster authentic, two-way communication that makes the brand feel more approachable. • Track communications metrics and employee feedback to improve engagement and impact.
