We are looking to hire a Senior Digital Marketing Recruiter to join our team to bring in new client business and place candidates across our existing client roster. We specialize in placing full-time candidates with leading digital agencies, ad technology firms, and brands in major markets such as the Bay Area, Denver, Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles and NYC, etc. We work on roles with a minimum of one to two years of experience up to Director and VP level positions. Here are some of our specialties: Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, SEM, Paid Social, SEO, Online Media, Display Advertising, Online Marketing, Programmatic, Client Services, Product Management, Analytics to name a few. Responsibilities As a Senior Digital Marketing Recruiter your role is two part: 1) to engage in new client development wherein you will identify and sign net new businesses to help grow Method Recruiting’s client roster, and 2) to identify and recruit a strong network of both active and passive digital marketing candidates via LinkedIn, our proprietary database, and referrals/networking. Client Development: • Identify and set meetings with hiring managers and TA professionals at target agencies and brands that are hiring digital marketers • Introduce Method Recruiting’s services via video and phone with new and existing clients to expand the utilization of our services • Negotiate contingency and retained fee agreements with new clients • Continually develop and grow a new client base and new business opportunities with existing clients • Act as primary point of contact for client accounts in order to usher candidates through the interview process from candidate introduction through to an accepted offer Recruiting: • Conducting phone screens with candidates to build relationships for current and future job openings • Collaborate with other team members to understand clients and market positioning within the industry • Act as an ambassador for the candidate throughout each step of the interview process including interview preparation and feedback • Offer negotiation and closing Skills • 3-8 years experience at a recruiting agency • 2+ years engaged in new client development • 2+ years as a full-desk recruiter (managing clients and recruiting candidates) • Digital marketing knowledge is a huge plus, but not required. We can make you an expert in the industry. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. There is a ton of writing in this job and ensuring a clear message to candidates and clients dramatically increases the likelihood of success. • Ability to quickly learn and adapt • Self-motivated and goal-oriented Why are we different? • We are extremely targeted and have industry experience. Understanding the terminology and digital ecosystem is paramount. There is a lot to learn in the first 90 days, but our methodology will allow new team members to excel quickly and begin contributing to making placements likely within the first 4-12 weeks in the role. • Agency recruiting is sales, but that word does not have to be scary as we are not the typical sales organization. We act as consultants to understand motivations/requirements to ensure a match for both clients and candidates. • You do not need to make 50 calls a day to be successful at our firm. Targeting and truly understanding a candidate’s reasons for leaving a job will allow you to present passive job seekers the best opportunity when it arises. This position will lead the charge in engaging and growing communities across social platforms — bringing a deep understanding of online subcultures, influencer content, and conversational dynamics on platforms like Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and beyond. This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering with senior creative and marketing leadership to shape how the brand shows up authentically across channels. Responsibilities: • Partner with creative and marketing leadership to develop and execute social/content strategy. • Lead creative and cultural thinking that taps into subcultures, online communities, and influencer-driven content. • Use LLMs and emerging AI tools to scale content ideas, testing, and community engagement while maintaining brand voice. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SEO and AI-driven strategies, reporting on social influence. • Build and manage a social media + yearly content calendar across platforms (evergreen and bespoke content). • Develop KPIs, track performance, and translate results into actionable insights for leadership. • Manage agency partners, freelancers, and creators — driving alignment, quality, and innovation. • Work closely with product marketing, design, customer support, and growth teams to ensure content ladders into business objectives. • Identify new growth opportunities in emerging platforms, influencer partnerships, and content formats. • Moderate and monitor owned/agency channels and competitive activity, surfacing insights in real time. • Ensure all social content reflects the company’s branding, positioning, and messaging. Qualifications: • 4–6 years of experience in social media, content, or community management. • Minimum 3 years leading social for a brand or agency, including managing agencies and creators. • Proven success growing communities, driving engagement, and building cultural relevance. • Fluent in Reddit, TikTok, and other community-driven channels; strong understanding of creator economy and digital subcultures. • Familiarity with leveraging AI/LLMs for content creation, testing, and optimization. • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and format across audiences and channels. • Proficiency in tools such as Sprout Social, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms. • Experience overseeing freelancers, vendors, and agencies to deliver impactful creative. • Excellent project management skills in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications: • Ability to produce and edit short-form video content. • Experience with influencer partnerships and organic/paid amplification strategies. • Familiarity with social listening, analytics platforms, and generative AI tools. • Design, photography, or editing skills. • Strong copywriting ability for social-first, native content.
