About The Opportunity This individual is accountable to identify and broaden material handling applications in accounts that are targeted for reusable packaging systems. Plan, direct and coordinate activities of packaging projects to ensure that objectives are accomplished within prescribed cost, quality, and timing parameters. A key focus will be on identifying and driving Customer savings opportunities. This individual will also be responsible to assist in selling efforts for new products and service opportunities through sales account managers. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Provides technical sales support to develop new opportunities for services and/or product revenue. • Provides unbiased solution set to ORBIS customers to optimize their overall supply chain. • Actively manages assigned program plans including areas of scope, time, cost, quality, communication, and risk. • Effective at developing and managing customer relationships. • Other duties as assigned. Performance Measures and Outcomes • Identification of current and future Customer cost savings/avoidance opportunities. • Driving implementation of Customer cost savings/avoidance opportunities. • Identification of current and future ORBIS unplanned, incremental revenue opportunities at assigned Customer account(s). • Taking an active role in driving, realizing ORBIS unplanned, incremental revenue at assigned Customer account(s). • Proactive management of assigned projects with ongoing status & risk documentation regularly distributed to project stakeholders. Work Experience Required: • 2-3 years of experience in project management, lean/six sigma and/or supply chain management. Desired: • 3-8 years of experience in project management, lean/six sigma and/or supply chain management. • Experience with reusable packaging applications. Education Level Required: Bachelor's degree Desired Field: Packaging, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
