Support global sales and account management processes, ensure customer satisfaction, and facilitate new customer acquisition within a structured framework. | Requires 2+ years in business or administration, ERP system knowledge, and strong communication skills; electrical or EMS manufacturing experience is a plus. | The Sales Manager US supports the Global Sales Manager and Global Account Manager across the entire customer lifecycle. This includes supporting the acquisition of new customers as well as ensuring customer satisfaction and sustainable business development of assigned accounts. In close coordination with the respective Global Sales or Account Manager, he supports the definition of focus customers, required support measures, and the coordination and implementation of agreed activities within the corporate framework. The role works closely with upstream and downstream departments based on clearly defined responsibilities, frameworks, and mutual commitments. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • According to the framework and the definition of the GSAM / BU as a "strategic driver", the employee has responsibility to ensure compliance with the requirements placed on the products. » Sales Manager US has power and responsibility of escalation in case of deviation (according escalation path). • Customer's representative according to Global SAM organizational plan (IATF16949:2016 - 5.3.1). • Support during the acquisition of new focus customers in coordination with the Global Sales Manager and support of Business Development with respective customers in coordination with the Global Account Manager -Support: - in achieving the Volume Growth (Sales) - in achieving gross margin II to SOP for R&D projects & the collection of payment milestones - with general terms and conditions in customer contracts (payment terms for series deliveries, ....) - in the event of escalation - in the execution of projects up to SOP • Focus customers have to fulfill the Melecs framework and should serve global sales markets. • Manage all change request (internal and external) in coordination with the Global SM/AM. • Act and work in line with Melecs corporate frameworks and process model. • KPI‘s: - Order income - Pipeline to reach BU-Target-Volumes - Contractual agreements in accordance with the frame - Manage Customer Score Card: maintain status A-supplier - No action/decision which could lead to product re-calls - Working capital: no overdue account receivables and no excess material through wrong material planning - Product phase-out: no obsolete material - Execute and communicate change requests in a timely manner and to customer expectations - CMII-Margin at agreed level ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Successfully execute plans while engaging the broader Melecs organization, (as required) while continually improving customer satisfaction. • Constantly monitor and analyze existing and potential customer(s), in order to identify important changes, opportunities and potential risks and take the appropriate action in a timely manner according to the business environment. • Maintain existing customer relationships as a competent partner and support Global Sales/Account Manager to expand portfolio by gaining new projects/customers. Build customer network (360 ° radar) and generate "Promotors" at customer side. • Internal and external support for the Global SM/AM of Melecs (customer meetings, escalations, RFQs,...) - e.g: - Support Global Account Manager in the preparation of relevant data for annual price negotiation - Support of the Global SM/AM with the punctual processing/preparation of RFQ's under integration of the necessary, internal resources (CBD, offer preparation), coordinating of the support departments + appropriate archiving and filing according to the folder structure template. - Support in the planning, execution and follow-up of customer visits and integration of the necessary internal departments (preparation of presentations, preparation of summaries/meeting minutes, etc.) - Support in ensuring planning and implementation of the global Sales/Account strategy - Strategic planning (regions, customer business units, portfolio) --> Perform analyses and preparatory work for focus customers (locations, business model and strategy, preparation for potential analysis, etc.) • Support in the preparation of analyses for potential markets and prepare possible ways to entry. • Support in contract management, preparation of deviation matrix, requesting feedback from customers. • Process customer inquiries (Request For Information) and follow internal processes to support customer offers according to Market to Order Process. (VA0172). Involve Global Sales/Account Manager according Responsibility Matrix (e.g. RFQ, volume expansion). • Act in line with existing customer contracts (T's&C's, Quality agreement, Supply Agreements, …). • Trade fair support & reporting (trade fair contact management, stand support and follow-up correspondence). ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Associates' degree in business or administration from an accredited two-year junior college; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and minimum of two (2) years of work experience. Experience or training in electrical or EMS manufacturing an advantage but not a requirement. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures. • Ability to write reports and business correspondence. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. • Ability to do cost accounting, budgeting, controlling and investment calculations. • Ability to solve practical problems. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Driver's license • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills • Ability to exhibit discretion and good judgment. • Excellent organizational skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently • Strong ability to be adaptable and versatile • Exceptional verbal and written skills • Strong negotiation skills • Problem management capabilities • Working knowledge with standard office tools (presentations, spreadsheets, word processing) and used of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
