Location: Remote (Must be in EST or CST) Compensation: $124,000 - $138,000 OTE (base + commission at plan). Commission is uncapped with accelerators, so earnings increase significantly when you exceed quota. The Role: As an Account Executive, New Markets at Medely, you’ll be responsible for opening entirely new territories and bringing our healthcare staffing platform to markets where we have little to no existing presence. You’ll build demand from the ground up, establish relationships with outpatient healthcare facilities, and close net-new business. This is a true hunter role with no SDR/BDR support. You will own the full new-business motion end-to-end: including self-prospecting, generating your own pipeline, and executing creative, multi-channel outreach strategies to break into new accounts. Success in this role requires grit, strong organization, and comfort operating in ambiguity. You’ll be navigating multiple stakeholders across the full sales cycle, testing what works, and creating pipeline where none exists. This role is best suited for sellers who thrive with autonomy and are motivated by building something from scratch. The Impact You’ll Make: 📅 Within one month, you will… Ramp quickly on Medely’s platform, our value proposition, and the healthcare staffing landscape. Begin 1:1s with your manager, align on your 30-60-90 plan, and shadow discovery and closing calls. Map your new territory and identify high-potential outpatient facilities. Build your initial prospect list and launch first-wave outreach campaigns. 📅 Within three months, you will… Own a launch territory plan with a focus on building net new relationships from zero. Run consultative discovery calls with clinical and operational leaders to uncover staffing challenges. Demonstrate Medely’s platform with confidence, tailoring use cases to each facility type. Generate pipeline entirely through your own outreach - leveraging cold calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and local market knowledge. Begin closing your first launch-market deals. 📅 Within six months, you will… Have an active, healthy pipeline built solely from self-generated opportunities. Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles, engaging both economic buyers and operational champions. Share early market feedback with leadership to influence our go-to-market strategy. Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Clinical Ops, and Product to adapt messaging for your market. 📅 Within one year, you will… Be a top-performing Launch AE, exceeding quota and firmly establishing Medely in your territory. Act as the subject-matter expert for your region, helping shape the playbook for future launches. Mentor new Launch AEs as they ramp and expand into other greenfield markets. Who You Are: Must have: proven success launching a new territory, market, or product from scratch - this is a dealbreaker. A minimum of 4 years of quota-carrying, full-cycle sales experience, preferably in healthcare or software/technology. Demonstrated ability to create pipeline without SDR/BDR support - you know how to find, engage, and convert opportunities from zero. Strong organizational skills to track early pipeline and document market learnings. Consultative sales approach, excellent discovery skills, and comfort engaging with clinical and operational teams. Own and scale B2B post-sale lifecycle strategies, build segmented journeys, and optimize customer engagement across channels. | 5+ years in lifecycle or retention marketing, with 2+ years in B2B or sales-led customer motion, and experience building behavior-based journeys. | Job Description: • Own and scale B2B post-sale lifecycle strategy across onboarding → activation → adoption → retention → expansion. • Build segmented lifecycle journeys tailored to distinct facility personas (e.g., admins, schedulers, operators, power users). • Leverage customer usage signals and engagement data to identify opportunities and improve lifecycle performance. • Develop and optimize customer communications across channels including email, in-app messaging, direct mail, and other lifecycle touchpoints. • Partner closely with Sales + Account Management to support post-sale nurturing, expansion, upsell/cross-sell, and reactivation initiatives. • Design lifecycle programs built for a future product-led motion, including automated onboarding, milestone campaigns, and feature adoption journeys triggered by customer behavior. • Conceptualize and manage incentive-based campaigns (e.g., limited-time offers, referral bonuses, usage rewards) to drive behaviors like first-time bookings, repeat usage, increased frequency, or feature adoption. • Lead experimentation and optimization through A/B testing, hypothesis-driven iteration, and lifecycle roadmap planning. • Establish lifecycle KPIs (activation/adoption/usage/retention/expansion) and regularly report results and insights to stakeholders. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or customer growth marketing. • 2+ years focused on B2B audiences and/or a sales-led customer motion (AM/CS partnership). • Strong understanding of the post-sale B2B customer journey: onboarding, product adoption, retention, reactivation, and expansion. • Experience building lifecycle journeys using behavioral/usage signals - not just time-based drip campaigns. • Ability to translate customer + product insights into programs that drive measurable impact. • Analytical, structured, and comfortable with testing and optimization. • Excellent cross-functional partner - able to collaborate with Product, Sales, AM/CS, and Data.
